FOR SALE: 3 weeks in Florida for 2 Adults and 2 Children in July

I am selling a holiday to Orlando Florida for 2 adults and 2 children (under 12) from 30 June - 21 July 2007 flying from Manchester direct to Sanford, Florida and staying in the Quality Inn International on International Drive. The price is for flights and accommodation and I am looking £2500 for the package.

We stayed in the Quality Inn International two years ago and had a wonderful time. The hotel and Florida in general was outstanding. The fully air-conditioned rooms are very spacious, a mini-suite in fact, with microwave and fridge and with two pools there was always some thing to do. The hotel is in an ideal position, right beside the biggest Mc Donalds in the world (supposedly) and 100m from a slip road onto the 192 which takes you straight to the main Disney Parks. Wet 'n' Wild is 1 mile down International Drive with Universal Studios 2 miles and Seaworld 3 miles away.We booked early and got a very good price but circumstances have changed and we are no longer able to go. The accommodation is on a room only basis for 4 people for 21 nights.

With a very favourable exchange rate for the dollar this is a very attractive holiday.

Check out the hotel on the Web and pm me if you want any more details.

Is this holiday transferable, BTW ?

All I have to do is change the names I have already given and while there is a cost for this, it has been built into the price I am asking for the holiday.

I should also add that I have been an Ebay member since 11 June 2003.

Thanks cmurray21 :santa:

What about the flights?

What about the flights?

If you mean changing the names for the flights as well as the accommodation, this is also possible and whoever buys the holiday from me I will have all this done for them.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn, International Drive in March this year, fantastic place for a Holiday.
It's a pity my Children aren't Children anymore (over 12) or I'd have bought this.

Because we have booked for 2 children under 12 I can't see them letting me change to kids who are older but I will look into this if you like.

Thanks for offering to try but I don't think it would be possible.

Good luck with the sale and I know this is a great price.

Fantastic, shame it's not for 2 adults and 3 children though!

I've decided to add a few photos of the Quality Inn International for you to see.

I appreciate what you are saying but for this price you couldn't beat it. Remember this is for three weeks and you are right in the middle of International Drive as well as being 10 minutes away from the main Disney Parks. A bargain
#14
I know we paid 6,000 for this last time but for the price excellent quality for money and also it's more like 5 minutes to the disney
#15
Its a fantastic price. We were there this year and it cost the same as the OP is advertising, but for 18 nights and we stayed when it was a cheaper time of the year.

I'd say its 10 minute drive to Disney :)

This is a real bargain I would have snapped up if I had the cash.

Its a great site for information. I think you would have a good chance of shifting it at that excellent price.

Think the main problem is it's not in the school hols and is 3 weeks, schools will allow 10 days pre-authorised holidays max I think. If it had been in the summer hols I'd have been interested, good luck with the sale anyway
#17
No, I've seen kids easily taking 3 - 4 weeks off for holiday.

Good luck with the sale!

I tried posting on disboards but they informed me that selling was not permitted on their site. Still hoping that this price will appeal to someone and I can see that some have appreciated the great value for money this offer gives.

Whats the accommodation - 1 large family room, a suite, two bedrooms? Does it include any tickets to the attractions? Is it possible to split accommodation and flights - if we were going we would probably prefer to rent a villa as we would probably grab a few other couples so that we could all take turns at babysitting so adults get some time to themselves!
#21
Sorry, but the price is for accommodation and flights. It cannot be divided up into seperate parts. The room is a large family room with two double beds (and a fold away bed if required), relaxing area with a table and four chairs, fridge, microwave, TV with cable tv, safe, large bathroom with a bath/shower and is fully air conditioned. Lots to do in the complex with two sizeable pools, shop and well stocked bar and cinema nights also. No tickets are included in this price and I don't think people would expect it for £2800 for 4 people for 3 weeks.

As I stated earlier, you are right on International Drive as well as being 100m from the ramp onto 192 to take you straight to Disney.

Great holiday destination at an amazingly low price.

One last push on this holiday - if it slips of page 1 again I'm will have to remove it. Any takers?

Hi

I've sent you a PM.
#24
I've dropped the price down a bit, trying to shift this. We paid a low deposit and I'm liable for the rest of it, hence trying to move it on. Cannot go below £2500 which is an excellent price for three weeks.

We stayed here last year at around about the sametime this is being offer for and to be honest we paid more or less what your offering it for from Portland Direct, i have booked 2 Florida holidays through Portland and both went perfectly

Put in the details for this holiday and you'll get it for around £2600 not including insurance for the dates offered, for 3 weeks in this exact hotel. Not to dampen this offer but this is a deals website so i thought i would mention it.
#28
Obviously getting it cheaper than you would pay for it somewhere else, does this not mean it is a good deal? This holiday is with First Choice and was the last of the three week deals when we booked it last year. I have just checked the First Choice website and the same holiday dates, yet only for 2 weeks, would cost £2602. Portland have it at £2656. So this is cheaper than most holiday company's.
#29
Yep it is a good deal, i was just giving ppl a comparison is all.
They have a choice of you transfering the holiday into there names and saving 150 quid or paying the extra and getting the holiday all sorted in there names from the off.

Just to clarify when we booked Florida in 2004 with Portland we flew with Thomos Cook and in 2006 with First Choice, all depends on the flight & accomidation you chose but you always end up with a decent company

I hope you sell it for your asking price as Florida is a fantastic place, i love it
#30
Anyone who was ever been to Disney can see that this is a bargain - I hope to sell it soon.
#31
Fingers crossed for you cmurray *thought i'd give this a bump*
#32
Thanks for the bump idlewilder - hopefully it will do the trick.

LOl worth a try eh

I think the problem here is were talking 3 weeks of school time and these days the school are really really strict on kids having time off out of school holidays.

I ended up having to pay a extra grand last year to go to Florida because the school wouldn't let me have my daughter out of school for 2 weeks in July. Ended up doing 2 weeks mid of august, the parks are pretty quite this time of year but it just guts me that the schools make you have your holidays in main season and the holiday firms take advantage of the fact.

Anyway after my rant, at least this post gets another bump.

Come on ppl if you can get the time off this is a fantastic place to go, once in a lifetime experience....unless you love it as much as me and do it twice in a lifetime and booking a 3rd time as we speak...lol

I will give ya £1000

Thanks for that very generous offer, but I have to say no.

Whirlers, you're doing a great job there trying to whip up a wee bit of support fpr my thread. I appreciate that it is during term time with you - over here in N. ireland this is the start of the Summer holidays and kids are off school anyway so it may be suited better to someone from here. Thanks for the bump anyway.
