For Sale - £708.98 Amazon Voucher

As stated in the title, I have a £708.98 Amazon voucher/discount code which is redeemable online. I received it as a refund on a purchase I didn't want.

I'm looking for £675 via paypal mass payment, Bank Transfer or Cheque (preferred).

The code will be e-mailed to you once your payment has cleared if paying by cheque or once the money is in my bank account if paying by paypal.

I have a verified paypal account and an Ebay Powerseller account with 100, 100% positive feedback. Further details can be provided on these if required and communication through these accounts is possible if necessary.

The code will expire on 04-July-2008

To use it all you have to do is follow these instructions:

To redeem your Amazon.co.uk gift certificate, simply follow the steps below:

1) Select the items you wish to order, using your Shopping
Basket. (Please note, you cannot use the 1-Click shopping method
when redeeming a gift certificate.)

2) In the order form you'll see a box that says "Have you got a gift
certificate or promotional code?".

3) Enter your claim code into the box and click the "Apply" button.

You will be able to see that the value of your gift certificate has
been deducted from the total cost in the order summary. When you have
successfully placed your order, the following message will be
displayed: "Thank you--we have received your order".

This is an easy £30+ Saving. Please PM me if you have any further questions.

Can you prove that the voucher is infact yours?
As there have been recent reports on hackers carding amazon vouchers and selling them for their benefit. Im not pointing fingers i just want myself and others to know about what's going around.

Yeh but thread got sidetracked for some completely different reasons which are now completely sorted. Hence I have been allowed to re-post. Please try to stay on topic

Personally i dont think amazon vouchers should be sold on the forum because of the danger of them being fake and once redeemed the card owner may trace the voucher being redeemed. But anyway it's not up to me what's allowed to be put up on the forum just keep safe.

I don't see how a voucher that works on the amazon site can be fake. Anyway please only post on here if you're interested.
#8
Whats happens if someone pays, uses the voucher, then says it never worked and wants a refund? you will be fcked
#9
That person better have some good feedback somewhere before payment. If that happens, I'll use the voucher myself and then issue a refund to ensure that I actually get something from it and if the voucher doesn't work for me then there will be no refund.

#11
Wouldnt it be easier if you bought something from amazon yourself and sell them trickz? couple of ps3s would have no problems selling

I don't really know what else I can do. I can provide a screenshot of some of the details on the refund e-mail. I've got the credentials to back myself up i.e. Amazon and Ebay account. You can always visit me in Cambridge if you want to pay by cash and see/use the voucher here.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

I think I might do that if I get no offers. I'll look for something for £699

Sounds a good and fair ideal.

Maybe if someone is looking for something off amazon you could buy it on their behalf using your vouchers and they then can buy it from you. You'll still have something to sell on that way if anything goes wrong :)

But then the voucher may honestly not work for them ? Then it wont work for you either, and you will have stolen £600 from some unlucky guy
#18
Once a voucher code is entered even to test it, you can't use it again as far as I know.
#19
hhhhmmmmmm, screen name dosent help, trickz!!!
only kidding! - good luck!
#20
Get someone to create a wishlist of items that total £708 (or close to there) - that requires some kind of pre-payment though on their behalf.

TBH there is no way to sell this easily without a complete mutual trust existing...

The best idea here so far is for you to buy something expensive and sell it here or on ebay :D

how did you get these vouchers?
#22
I will give you £400 for it.

I think I'll pass on that one :giggle:

I think I'll buy something and then re-sell it. Mods please close this topic.
#24
thats the best idea trickz - because at the end of the day its a £30 odd quid saving for whoever buys it - but then they are tied into spending £675 at amazon and what if they dont find anything to use it on? they will end up just wasting it and then probably wish they had the £675 cash instead.

so yeah just buy a few large value items, you should get close to money back.

id buy this as i get 10% off all dvds anyway with never ending rental discount (even though the rental offer was for 2 weeks only, ive had it for around 14 months) so i could actually get around £775 for £675.

but its a bit much - id only go to £500.
#25
if you go for a good ps3 package PM me and i might have it off you
#26

they refunded me with a voucher at christmas i complained and then they refunded back to payment card.
i think it's their way of making sure you spend the money with them

I thought that too, that would be way out of line. You sell them an item that isn't valid, they are entitled to get their money back! If not, I'd advise them to take you to the small claims court!
#31
buy a few wiis and you wont have a problem

I dont think this is necessary

I've now managed to accumulate over £900 worth (see screenshot) through affiliate schemes and other stuff.
Decided not to buy and sell on ebay as the fees will be very large and buyers will probably want to use paypal which will increase fees further.

Anyone want anything expensive off amazon? Will sell anything worth £800+ off there for £50 less and free express delivery included. Can buy separate items to the total value, one at a time if you want...
