Hi can you please post images of the actual item for sale with your username written on a note in the images. Also do you have any trading feedback elsewhere such as ebay?

Thanks.

is this the one from littlewoods that was £499.99 in their recent mis price where only a lucky few managed to get a hold of it?
#5
Yes its that very Laptop but not bought from Littlewoods to my knowledge.
#6
Does it come with a reciept for warranty purposes?
#7
I dont have a receipt im afraid because it was bought as a birthday present for me.

In any other case i would ask, but i daren't for the reason it was bought as a gift.
Sorry

£400?

I would have thought in llight of the recent deal where these were mispriced, unless you can provide a receipt stating how much you paid/was paid for it then this should be classed as profiteering.

Its a brand new sweet laptop bought as a present, why the hell wouldnt you want it???
#12
Dont think he is breaking any rules as long as its below rrp at amazon and other large retailers!
but its £779.96 at amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-VAIO-Laptop-CR31SW-DVDRWDL/dp/B00156588W/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1220538546&sr=1-16
#13
Its a case of dont need it. I already have a decent laptop and dont have any need for 2.

According to Ibrox_Hunk, this £499 deal was a misprice and my sale cant be based upon that.

Dont want to thread spoil but this is breaking the rules regardless of what the RRP is.

If it was bought for 499 and is now trying to sell it on here for £700 then that is profiteering and is not allowed on HDUK

If it was bought through the deal posted on here the most he can sell it for is the price he paid, plus postage.

If it wasnt, prove it and you can sell it near the RRP
#15
Yes exactly - IF it was bought for £499 which it wasnt!!

If youre not interested in buying, only making a nuisance of yourself, then i have nothing to prove to you...

And whats more, im asking LESS than the price shown in the stated link. So i dont see really what your problem is, especially as you have no interest in buying

Oh and by the way, im not a HE...?!

WHO CAN SELL, BUY AND TRADE

(1)
This is for personal trading/selling only. NO businesses/business like services or bulk sales [more than two of the same/similar items]. No linking to an external business/eBay store/Amazon store.

(2) NB: This forums definition of TRADE is: an exchange of items between members, usually without payment of money.

Please Note: Under 18's are able to use any forum and including the For Sale forum. Please bear this in mind when trading, as we are unable to confirm or take responsibility for the age of any user. We also suggest that you collect as much information and as many details as possible before starting to trade with anyone.

LISTING A TRADE, SALE OR REQUEST

(3) All sales must be listed and completed fully on the HUKD FS/FT forum. NO eBay, auction, classified or external links to an item listed elsewhere. You must not list your items for sale or trade here if they're listed elsewhere online and this also applies where you have more than one of the same item being offered.

(4) It should go without saying, no prohibited, classified or illegal items. This includes fake/counterfeit goods, copied media, tobacco products, alcohol and weapons of any kind.

(5) Please post images of the actual items for sale. This helps your sale or trade by showing the condition and also that you have the product in your possession. This is not a necessity but will go a long way to helping your sale and establishing validity. If you post an eBay image, we may pull the listing immediately to request further information.
* Selling items on behalf of a third party is not permitted, the item[s] must belong to you and be in your possession.

(6) You must specify an asking price in your listing. Every item you list should have a legitimate asking price.

(7) If advertising a ticket sale it should be at cost price and not an inflated price. (Note: you cannot resell train tickets)

(8) Please update your thread once the item has been sold, trade completed or request fulfilled. If necessary, use the “report” button http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/report.gif in the first post to notify a moderator of changes. This includes and is your responsibility to make sure we know you have closed or expired your thread.

(9) If listing a request a price is not needed, however sellers responding to the request are required to state a price. We do not permit threads such as “I have £x in my paypal account, what can you offer”. Any such threads will be locked. Buyers must state specifically what they are looking for.

(10) You must not list items for sale at higher than the recommended retail price. The marker of RRP will be determined by cross indexing with Amazon or other well known retailer for example.

FULFILLING YOUR TRADE OBLIGATIONS

(11) Offer and acceptance of trade or sale must be posted in relevant thread. You must NOT deal by PM only.

(12) Once an offer has been made and accepted the trade should be considered final. Sellers who accept an offer and subsequently accept a higher offer from another member may be banned from trading. On the flip side members who submit an offer and subsequently cannot fulfill it due to lack of funds will be banned from trading.

(13) Goods remain the responsibility of the seller until the buyer takes possession and affirms they are okay. For this reason be honest in your descriptions and include original photos so the buyer knows what they are getting! Also, use a form of insured and signed for delivery to ensure any shipping/delivery mishaps will be covered.

THREAD COMMENTS, SPOILING & PRICE COMPARISON

(14) Please only post in a thread if you are interested in engaging in the sale/trade listed. Anything else will be considered thread spoiling and will be deleted. Thread spoilers, including threadjackers, face a ban from the FS/FT forum. If a member continually posts questions in multiple threads and then withdraws from the sale this will be considered thread spoiling. Low ball offers will also be considered thread spoiling and will be deleted. It is up to the original poster to use the “report” button http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/report.gif to notify moderators of any thread spoiling.

(15) The only exception to this is if you see the EXACT item priced higher than available new elsewhere. In this case a third-party can make a post but ONLY in the following format: LINK TO MERCHANT - PRICE. No comments, just the facts. This must be the final price (after VAT/shipping) for a new product and from a reputable merchant. Price comparison to auction sites, classifieds or other personal sales are not allowed. Members who do not follow these posting rules face a ban from the FS/FT forum.

(16) If you believe a poster is dodgy please use the “report” button http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/report.gif stating your evidence. ONLY post suspicions in the thread if you are 100% positive the poster is a troll.

(17) Continuous 'bumping' of threads to promote your sale without good reason, may result in deleted posts or threads. Maximum of two bumps in total.

(18) Editing of original posts could cause your thread to be closed or deleted, at the discretion of Admin or Moderators.

(19) If a thread is expired, closed or removed from the FS forum at any time, the same items or thread cannot be relisted until at least a period of seven days has passed from the date it's expired and closed. Those same items also cannot be listed or offered in other active threads.

Ibrox _hunk what have you posted that for.

I am not trying to be a nuisance just looking after the interests of the group, why should you blatantly profit when others are not allowed.

Good luck with the sale

Oh thats ok then, if they said they didnt buy it from the deal then they obviously didnt, right? silly me.

Who buys somebody a brand new £800 laptop not knowing if they already have one or not? And who will pay £745 without the receipt as a guarantee? When you can get it for £776 with a guarantee from Amazon.

your thread spoiling now! report it if your not happy and feel there are rules being broken!

I assume no reciept means no warranty??
#26
You register with sony. The warranty form is in the box. The shop receipt is only valid for 28days if a problem arises, which then goes back to sony anyway.

I don't suppose you'd be interested in doing a deal with Star Trek Season 1 on HD-DVD, ideally I want £100 for it + I have various other HD-DVD's, Blu-Rays, XBox 360 & PS3 games that I can p-ex with you?
#28
Hi there

Sorry mate - really looking for a cash sale to be honest.

i agree
the potential was there previously so hence it does break the rules , it was a deal offered here so that fixes a price , also 700 big ones for a lappy second hand ?????? regardless of useage or not id recommend to anyone to pay the extra for a new one so it comes with a warrenty
#30
Another thraed spoiler i see.

Here we go again....
No it wasnt a deal - it was a misprice. No it wasnt bought from Littlewoods. And £700 for a brand new vaio laptop aint that bad. And it does come with a warranty, thats warranty with an A..

So i suggest you check your facts before you make an a*se of yourself?! Besides mods have not got a prob with this so looks like you clearly have nothing better to do with your time

We go by the RRP rule @ HUKD. However, if this item was available @ a lower / misprice @ HUKD, then buyers can place offers accordingly. :)
