I am selling my BT HomeHub 2.0 and handset which has recently been upgraded to allow use with any ISP.

Unit was used by myself whilst on BT however I have now moved to Sky and no longer require this piece of kit.

Not really a lot I can add.

Can the handset be used without BTbroadband?
#2
Yeah, I was using the handset with my normal BT phoneline when I was using it. Can also be used as an VOIP phone as well iirc.

so this is a v2 type A model then? (only the A is unlockable without soldering)

are you after any trades?

Yeah it's V2 type A which has been softmodded in opposed to having to solder it.

No really after any trades. Only thing I'd consider going towards would be FIFA 11 or a PS3 controller.

Cheers. Mark.

Hi, would you post first as you have no feedback ?
#6
Can you confirm what condition the bub and the phone are?

Also you mentioned the hub has been softmodded in opposed to having to solder it. Can the unit be reseted to only work with BT accidently.

Morning All.

Yes I would be willing to post first providing you were able to provide contact details and have feedback on here already (which you do).

Regarding condition - the unit was used for approx a year however the hub itself was never really touched - it just sat there. The phone is in a used condition with surface scratches on the display screen but its nothing I would class as excessive damage - just damage from every day usage.

Comes from a smoke free home and the Elvis the Chihuahua is too small to reach it so no chances of him damaging it.

Soft modded via telnet so I feel that you are very unlikely to accidentally reset the unit. The reset button on the side of the unit only power cycles as far as I am aware.

Any other questions then fire away.

I will take it from you

I would like to buy the hub. Should I PM you.

Taking to PM with Rudki as he has offered to take at asking.

Payment received and item sent this afternoon.

mdfocus - you have still not sent the promised cables to your buyer and there is an issue with the hub as you sold it as 'unlocked' but the buyer is having problems using it with nonBT broadband providers.

This is a feedback issue and members should resolve directly via the external .contact info you obtained at the time of the sale, but no further trading permitted mdfocus until this matter has been resolved, Also MOD PMd
