For Sale: Crucial 10th Anniversary DDR2 RAM

I've got a 2x1GB kit of this just sitting in it's box as i've decided to get 4GB of cheaper RAM. This RAM is legendary stuff easily capable of 1000mhz at 4-4-4-12 timings. It's no longer for sale as it was only available in small volumes last year when Crucial became 10 years old. Despite it being such a good overclocker, I've
never actually had an opportunity to overclock it due to changing boards and RAM so much.

I'm looking to sell these for £40 including postage, i accept bank transfer, cheque and postal order (uncrossed)

I really need to get rid of these, i've got 4GB already so they're sitting there gathering dust so price drop! £40 including postage.
#3
After any trades?
i'm cash poor at the mo!
#4
Me too! I went a bit gung ho with my pc upgrading. Nevertheless what have you got to trade?
#5
Possibly the strangest offer you didn't expect to get, what about a mint "Circuit Bending- build your own alien instruments" book by Reed Ghazala and an unmodified speak and spell. Link to the wiki on Reed-

You're right, i certainly didn't expect it! It's not what i was looking for unfortunately.

I'm looking to trade for any electronics etc, amazon vouchers, argos or homebase vouchers.
#7
30inc and ill pay right now?
#8
Nope, i'm not budging on the price it is already. This RAM can easily perform the same as RAM triple the price i'm asking, pity is i couldn't find another set.
#9
Ah, just thought i'd try something interesting ;)
Only electronic thing i've got on here really is my 5.1 home cinema- the thread is on the first page of this sales forum somewhere (i'm kind of anticipating you've got a great a/v rig though!)
They look so nice and shiny...
#10
Yeah unfortunately i've got everything including sound down on my PC so i wouldn't need a home cinema. This RAM is really nice stuff, and it's been well looked after. Never overclocked and always been under a RAM cooler.
#11
Come down on the price at all? 35?

Have you cloked this ram at all? what did you get it to? and what did you having it running at 24/7? As although this ram in genrally very good, there's no guarente on how any particualr stick will perfrom.
#12
These sticks are handpicked from the best micron d9's so they're as guaranteed as you'll get to be high clockers. If you want to wait until tomorrow when i get my motherboard and i'll show you how high these sticks will go on stock volts. I had them running at stock.

I won't go any lower, otherwise i may just keep them.

#13
I've already seen them on the ram list thanks mate. Little disapointed you arn't open to offers at all though :( I'll think about it and get back to you soon.
#14
As of now i'm still selling it but depending on how it performs tomorrow i may keep them.
#15
I'll pay £40, but it has to be through paypal to a verified account.

I'll also need heatware or ebay credentials.

Otherwise i pay after i recieve.

Also, please confirm that there are no memtest errors at stock.

ghost i can confirm that nintendo is safe, i spend 40 quid with him last week and he is all safe, his paypal is not working at the moment due to expanded use. Hence he is using bank transfer and i can confirm that it is safe to pay him using this method ;)
#17
Thx for the info. I'll relax the paypal requirement.
#18
Yea i wanted to pay by paypal but he said he can only take b/t. checked his name against his bank and address and 2+2 gave 4 so I can confirm nothing will happen, he uses recorded post too, very easy to get hold of via pm. Good luck with the purchase mate ;)
#19
thanks ommid. currently paypal are messing me about so i'm only accepting or preferably postal order. no memtest errors at stock and i doubt there's any need to explain how good it is. ebay is prince_of_beardonia. currently one of my negative feedbacks is under review about the northbridge heatsink but i accept blame for the time wasting one due to paypal messing me over. if you need anymore info such as address or landline number PM me.

Reading the thread does suggest so.
#22
Bank transfer is accepted. I definitely want to get rid of them. I'll only be sending after i receive payment, not proof of payment sent, but receipt of payment.

If i could just look at your ebay account, i will tell you pretty quickly when ive sent the payment. So you will probably send the item after you recieve the money which will probably be tuesday.

Sound ok?

Could you pm me the sufficient information for the bank transfer and ebay account details.

Thank you.
#24
My ebay details are already in the thread. I was going to send by standard post recorded will cost £1 more, i should have mentioned that. I'll PM you my bank details.
#25
Im sorry, i wont be buying the item. Im currently lacking the funds to purchase both your memory and x64 version of vista home premium. Without, that upgrading from 2 to 4gb is somewhat of a wortheless excercise.

Good luck selling the item, it is a brilliant price.
#26
No problems, if you have X86 vista you can upgrade to x64 for a nomimal fee. I'm in the process of doing it myself, saved me buying a new vista product key
#27
Still interested Jay?
#28
I am Interested still asking for some opinions etc :) will get back to you tonight
#29
Good stuff, if you need any information on it, check the links on the first page

i offer a 30GB iPod Black, good overall condition, just doesnt seem to play music. I throw it on there and it sees it and i select play and it just says 0:00.

Box/instructions/usb/apple cd included.

Last time i turned it on battery works, still assume it does, just plugged it in now and i got to menu. Sometimes it has trouble turning onand needs a jump start from the usb to get the ball moving, coming out of standby mode is fine though. Prob would hit around the 50 mark on ebay, thsat and its the only thing in my room electrically related that i have no need for.

Either way good luck with sale.
#32
Is this a 6400, 800mhz kit?

Whats the absolute lowest you'll take for it? :)
#33
Nope, they're 667's. Any less than £40 and i'll keep them, they're up with some of the best DDR2 around, picked from the same chips as these.

Supposing I had these and later wanted to upgrade my system to 4gb ram, what ram would I get to ensure maximum compatability with these?

Crucial ballistix ddr2 are basically the same except they are binned.

http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listmodule/DDRII/~HS~/list.html

The anniversary range have hand picked chips in them and are probably similar in overclockability to the current pc2-8500 modules.
#36
if you wanted another 2GB and didn't overclock, at stock you could get another set of crucial ballistix pc2-5300, but if you overclocked, depending how high you dared to go the PC2-8500 would probably be the best bet.

Thanks for the info ghost.

I won't be accepting your offer, as i don't see how an ipod that doesn't play music is a good trade, thanks for the offer though.
