Datatag for cycles offers a multi-layer approach to identification that makes life difficult for even professional thieves! The kit is simple to fit and includes both visible and hidden identifiers including a Datatag transponder that gives your bike a unique electronic finger print. Bike theft is well known to be a problem and many owners think that just by registering them on some database that theft will miraculously stop but the truth is that registration without the right identification system just doesn't work?
The Datatag system offers the premier identifiers combined with probably the most sophisticated database ever devised. Equally importantly Datatag works with the Police to back up the product and provides free scanning equipment, database access on a 24/7 basis as well as technical training. Owners of Datatagged cycles also benefit from reduced premiums from the major insurers. For Cycle security there is only one choice.

Brand new in box datatag kit (bought accidentally) for pushbikes.

£20 Delivered (ENGLAND ONLY)

Worth it if you own an expensive pushbike or feel you bike may be stolen.

I've thought of one of these but can't see that it will prevent my bike being stolen. When my second from last bike was stolen, the police didn't care - it took a while to even get an incident number for insurance purposes. Now I have two decent locks which seem to keep things safe.

The bike I have now is worth about £800 - can you tell me how this product can protect it? I'm serious about this and if you can make a good case for the sale, you may well have a purchaser here!

Be good, Dio
this kit consists of 4 unique data tag, a transponder and some proxy glue.
The tags set like rock onto the frame and other aread of the bike (you choose) and the transponer can go somewhere hidden (inside the frame is poss)
If the police suspect a bike they can use the datatag detection system to either identify the tags of find the hidden electronic transponder.

According to the datatag website 100% of all cases that end up in court and include a datatag system on the stolen vehicle have won the case.

The datatag hologram is the biggest deterrant as most people see that (put it somewhere obvious) and people will usually worry about nicking it knowing it has hidden tags.

Datatags are now used on all new uk (not import) motorcycles and is already fitted to over 500,000 vehicles.
You simply apply theh tags and transponder and send off the registration form so they can add you to a police database
(lifetime subscription with the kit = no annual fees etc...)

Im not making anything on this kit im actually losing money as i bought this mistaking it for the motorcycle kit which is different.

Thanks for the info but I think I'd get nowhere with it. The chavs around here are thick enough to rob a reversing screen from my neighbours transit van so I doubt that would be enough to stop them.

I think it's brwan, not brains, that is the answer here. Good luck with the sale.
Be good, Dio
