The iBook appears to be working fine although over the past couple of days the screen has been switching itself off, I think that it is a loose connection, so possibly very easy and cheap to fix. Worst case scenario is that it needs a screen replacement, which I know can be purchased for less than £50. Only reason for sale is because I can't make it to my Apple store anytime before I leave for Afghanistan to have it diagnosed officially. I bought the iBook from here a few months ago for £200 and it is in excellent condition considering age. This could still be used with a DVI cable to a monitor and would make a great little base station. Specs are 800Mhz PPC, 640Mb RAM, 30Gb HDD, Airport Wireless. This could be an investment to someone as it is easily worth £200 when working fully again. Also have the original instructions and the OS X (10.2) discs and a carry case, although 10.4 is installed and will probably have to be left on it!
I am asking for £100ono delivered by courier.
I also have the 2 x 1Gb 200pin SODIMMs that I removed from my Macbook when I upgraded. They are the stock Apple RAM that the Macbooks come with. They do fit in a lot of laptops but make sure at crucial.com if your not sure. I have kept the packaging from my upgraded RAM to send this in.
I would like £11 delivered for the RAM.
1 stick of RAM sold :)
