I'm selling my faulty iPhone 5.

It was working fine until Tuesday but my son decided to throw it and it's gone like this ever since

In the bottom right corner there's a black circle with a rainbow colour around it and the bottom of the screen has gone funny also.

The screen does respond but if I press a letter eg v it goes like fdgjufcv for example even though I've not pressed them.

I took a photo of my daughter tonight on the phone and it took about 5 even though I only pressed it once. There's a little crack at the top this has been there a while before my son threw it.

I am still able to make calls and texts go on wifi download apps. I don't know what the actual fault is etc

Phone is about 10 months old it's a Vodafone refurb as my last iPhone 5 fell out my pocket and smashed

My asking price is £120 not sure if too high to be honest I just thought I would put something and would like as much as possible. Will upload pictures if more are needed etc I can take more

No accessories included it's just the phone.

Collection or viewing welcome from stoke on trent and payment by bank transfer please unless local cash on collection

Phone has general wear and tear
- cheznconrad123

I've got the IMEI number but it doesn't say the date I purchased it. It's 10-11 months old at the most I'm sure I had it September October time last year

Pretty much yes. On the odd occasion it doesn't but most of the time. It's a refurb I brought through Vodafone when I smashed my screen I don't have any other sims to try it with sadly so I will stick to saying its locked to Vodafone just in case.

Will keep thread open longer as not long listed. And I also would like a buyer to know 100% the faults before buying as I'm no expert on phones

I'm using the phone now to type it's been fine but I could use it next time and it just go crazy again. If it was just the mark I could put up with that but I can't be doing with the letters and numbers when pressing one coming up about 10!!

Also as I said in my op I took a photo of my daughter last night pressed it once and it took the photo about 5 times!! Again this is since my son has thrown it.

It worked 100% before he threw it. But it's no good for me now sadly as I do love the iPhone 5. Had to have my dads 4S I don't like using it but can't keep affording new phones.

If any other questions please ask. Can't think of anything else to put now regarding the fault. I will call Vodafone later to see if they can tell me it's unlocked and when I purchased it.

Oh obviously the black covers the letters on the screen but I am still able to press the letters I can't see.

Thanks x

For any prospective buyers: The fault appears merely to be a damaged LCD/digitiser. These can be bought on eBay for approximately £20 and replaced with ease in approximately 10minutes. Of course, the throwing/dropping may have caused other internal damage.
#10
Thanks mod I will definitely be doing all dealings in the thread for sure.

£50 is too low sorry.

Thanks xeroc for the information. I have been as honest as possible in listing it. I thought the digitiser but I'm no expert

No worries, the lcd is broken.

Are you in vodafone pay as you go or pay monthly?

If you are in vodafone pay monthly for more than 12 months, you can unlock this phone for free.

Are you willing to sell it to me?

If you have been with Vodafone for 12 months, that's free.

From Vodafone:"Pay monthly customer? You’ll pay £19.99 if you’ve had your plan for less than a year."

Lets take it to PM?
