Look right at the bottom. Interested buyers can come and have a look before a sale is agreed.

Unbelieveable at some people, im gobsmacked you felt the need to put this. Its set at £5 Jackpot so i dont need a licence, and if we're gonna get funny i can diconnect the payout tubes hence making it for amusement only so there!

lol! some people just want to thread spoil...on another note wish i was closer...i would love it!
banned#3
that would be ace, seems a bargain, shame i dont live closer.
#4
I could say i'll deliver but obviously the price wouldnt be £50 and anything higher would put people off. What i will add about this fruity is u actually get some amusement for your money!!!! Unlike todays rip offs!!!

I cannot view the web site you quoted at present (due to this office's policy on anything "games" related in URLs).

I'm very local to you (same postal district!).

Any chance you could post a photo in this thread & we could then agree on the price sold subject to viewing (either this evening if possible, or preferably) tomorrow evening?

Thanks.

:) Thanks.

I'm in Chelmsford at present. and need to be in Maidstone for 6:45pm, so may not get the opportunity to view this evening. If I were to arrange to meet you tomorrow, could I leave collection until over the weekend (so I can arrange a suitable vehicle for transport)?

I still cannot view the other URL. Do you have a make/model reference I could perhaps try Google images or similar?

...Very keen as you can tell.

Thank you.

Unfortunately the http://www.empiregames.co.uk/ prefix is blocked & I see a square placeholder in MS-Internet Explorer where the JPeG should be.

Annoying, I know :(

As for a viewing 2night would of been perfect as its stored round my gf's mums. If you can only do the weekend, what you thinking?

You gonna be using for personal use?

It's for a present. The recipient will be with me at 6:45pm tonight when I should be in Maidstone.

I'm 35 miles away in Essex & have to cross the QE-2 bridge at present. I didn't want to commit to a viewing this evening as I may not make it to you in time.

I can view tomorrow evening (as I don't have any more appointments after work), but I'll then need to make an excuse to use my bigger vehicle for collection over the weekend so the recipient doesn't ask questions about why I'm not using my usual car on Friday etc.

(Or I could view &/or collect next week, if that's any better)

Is tomorrow evening OK for a viewing?

I'll have chance to research the Empire machine, or at least have seen one photo by then as well.

PS. You don't want to try "Treasure Trail" into Google Images in a mixed office environment!

Just when you need blocked images they are shown. Typical!

I will be hitting the M25 in about 10 minutes time...

I'm not a timewaster... [check my feedback; almost as high as your own... I also have a lot of feedback on eBay & AVForums; same user name], but again, due to "Friday night" traffic I wouldn't like to commit to "before 6:30pm" tomorrow.

Sounds like we're not going to be able to reach a mutually convenient day/time this week.

Pity.

If it is still for sale next week let's arrange a meeting then.

In the meantime, good luck... if it goes to someone else then I'll look elsewhere.

BFN,

fp.

EDIT: Leaving for the journey home now.

I'll PM you my details and you can pop round 2morrow night, to save petrol i would try and use the other car 2morrow. Looks like a night round the inlaws for me!! Whoop! Whoop!!!!

Would be intrested in this, do you know how big it is?
Sounds a silly question but need to think if it would fit in the car (Grande Punto) and where it would go in the house. Also any pics avaliable yet? Im in Basildon so your less than 40mins away!

Would like to take a look if this is still for sale - please PM me.

Got to do all communication in the thread im afraid (or we'll both get suspended!!).

I had a good look at this tonight so heres some more details:

I'd say 60% of the bulbs need replacing (these are a couple of quid on ebay for like 100).
Needs a good clean from dust.
Includes quite a few other decals for different prize amounts.
Includes Manual.

I turned it on....stuck £2 in, which went into the tubes and won £2 which paid out the same so thats all working fine.

Includes all keys and power supply.

I do have photos but they are on my phone which i cant upload (rubbish software) but i could text them.

Size: I'd say 5ft hight by about 1.5ft deep.
Fit in car: Possibly but definitely in an estate.

Regards to viewing thats fine but i'll see what the other bloke is doing first as he showed initial interest.:)

Anything else i can help with?

Have to hope my car would do it.
Let me know what you decide - Im very intrested in the moment and was hoping when I replied earlier I might have been able to view/purchase tonight.

As I say keep me updated as Im pretty sure I would take for asking cash on collection just want to double check with a view.
Understand that your trying to give the intial intrested party first dibs but this is very impulse for me and as I say I could be handing over the cash tonight!

Yep just sending them over to my computer.

Looking at the pictures would take for asking cash on collection - only issue would be if it didnt fit in the motor but dont think that would be a problem
#28
I forgot 2 mention, above the buttons where the decals are for prizes, They arnt in the machine so would need slotting in under the glass, but if you were changing the jackpot then you'd do this anyway along with changing the bulbs.

Is fanpages still viewing tommorow or wanting to purchase this weekend?

I only mention as per forum rules there is nothing wrong with you selling it to me as I have agreed to purchase at asking price etc... Although appreciate your trying to do the right thing

OK, reading back through the thread, as you've offered asking then i guess i can accept your offer. I just feel a bit guilty.

So is tommorrow 6pm ok?

For a sale to a private user, you will not have any problems selling - the real legislation is based around the use of the machine.

You do not need a license to operate a machine for private use, regardless of the prizes offered. If for public use, you only need a license for fruit machines offering jackpots greater than £5.

This is a good price for a working machine - bargain for those who have wives/parners who will accommodate such a thing, which is likely less than 1% of those viewing!

The bulbs I get and all is fine, Im not to sure about the decals comment? They are just visual bits which I need to put in place is my impression.

I think realistically it should be around 6:30 that I get to you. I'll be leaving Basildon at 17:45 so hopefully 45 minutes should be long enough even with traffic can you please PM me your address.

Please don't feel guilty.

You needed to sell it, and crow99 offered unconditionally.

I'm just glad you found a good home for it.

(Shame you didn't get what you wanted the last time you tried to sell it, but that's the way it goes some time).

Thanks again for your trouble this afternoon.

fp.
