Im interested mate, check my other thread you posted on yesterday. I would do a swap but cash would be needed on top of around £100. Just because difference in value , i can't let it go for less.

Computer arrived today but has two major errors wrong with it.
CPU Fan error
Cpu over temperature error

Which means the computers fan is not working which makes it shut down from overheating within minutes of having it on. Need a partial refund on this as you sold this as fully working and it is not.
Computer repair shop has quoted me alot to repair as there are two things wrong with it , so i need a refund via paypal or bank transfer to get the computer i bought off you which was described as working , to actually work.
Get back to me asap.

As you've probably guessed, the second problem is caused by the first problem. So only one needs solving.

My first thoughts are that the fan has either come off or come loose during transport. If you take the side of the case off, is the fan still attached? It may be as simple as just clipping it back on.

£100 repair seems excessive to me. Even if there is a fan problem, then it should need no more than a new fan for around £10.

Been quoted £45 at a local shop now , so going to do that as i cant risk mucking around with it myself. So a £45 partial refund is in order.

Nope just the other shop tried to rip me off obviously so went to another one and they quoted alot less, included is new fan and fitting etc and clean. I don't have alot of knowledge of computers and stuff really.
