Was going to get a DSI but need the funds to treat the missus as it's our 1st anniversary.

As far as i'm aware these can only be used in store.

Good chance to save at Game.

Game gift cards are instore only. It says on the back of them (sadly)
#5
Would give you £80 for it, but guessing too low?

Cheers.
#6
Correct m8, £80 is too low.

Thanks anyway.
#7
problem is that usually games can be had online for about a tenner less than instore in game. So it would only be worthwhile getting at around £80

Yes, agreed but how about consoles and deals, game are pretty good for these. Also if anyone wants a DSI, this is a cheaper way of getting it. They sell everywhere for £150.

Anyway thanks for all the comments but £80 is too low.

you would have more like buying a DSi and then selling it here probably
#12
85 here
#13
Someone sold a £150 gift card for £110 the other day so I think £80-£85 is fair imo

Mark and others,

Are any of you with the advice on price, actually offering ? Thanks for the comments, but i will say one more time, it is worth more than £85. If someone is buying from Game then it makes sense to buy.

Don't mean to be rude but why are you commenting on this ? Appreciate the bumps but would like to sell, not debate on it.

I'm only interested in offer responses and up to now £85 is not enough. Looking for more than that.

Thanks,

RjC

These guys have got a point mate !!!

Game are doing trade in ANY 2 x DS games = £25 store credit, you can pick up 2 x ds games elsewhere 2nd hand for less than that, you do the math.

Good luck with the sale :whistling:

I am offering comments to try to help your sale along.

My bid would have been comparable to those already made, so to remain in keeping with your wishes; I offer £86 inclusive of Royal Mail Special Delivery costs to despatch the card to me.

For the benefit of others… Do you have any evidence that the card has the level of credit upon it?

Maybe a printed receipt from a GAME electronic till with a recent date/time stamp (that, of course, may well be out of date minutes later, but I see you have 3 positive feedback points so that may not be a concern for other parties).

It is a pity that GAME do not provide physical paper vouchers anymore; as £117.52 worth of credit on one card is hard to split up for forthcoming gifts for others, and may be putting off offers at present.

I know you are just looking for offers, but I'm going to offer some advice anyway...

Maybe you could revisit a store & ask them to split the single gift card across a multiple selection of other cards (£10, £20, £25, etc. to reach the total) & then offer these for sale here individually with a discount applied on each?

Less risky for the buyer. Potentially a wider audience for sales.

To come back to the point about use in-store or online...

The web site sales & in-store sales revenue streams are independent of each other, so it would not be in either channels best interests to sell vouchers for the other (as the customer may then spend more at the alternate supply source). There are also logistical & accountancy issues when trying to return web site goods to a high street store for credit or refund.

Good luck in any respect.

BFN,

fp.
