Selling my Harmony 525 remote.

To be honest I've hardly used it, so despite being over a year old, there isn't a mark on it, and its in mint condition.

It does not come with a box, nor the software (but this can be downloaded for free, and is required as there is a newer version than what was on the disk).

I am including a USB lead for it.

£35 delivered.

(taken in front of my monitor so that 1) the remote screen shows up and 2) you can kinda see it was taken in front of this thread! :)

Could I have a picture please, ive been after a good universal remote for ages.

i have this remote, and it is brilliant, no more 'all in one' macros...but activites which makes life so much easier, and even the girlfriend knows how to work it perfectly! and shes far from tech savvy!
get one, they are brilliant.

i use mine on a lg 42" plasma, technics av reciever, 360, and sky+ and even have it set up to control the bedroom dvd player and tv!

what he said.

I've got mine controlling my, freeview box, xbox 360, dvd player and my hd tv that for the life of me I couldnt find a universal remote to work with until I got one of these babies. Truly excellent piece of kit.

very easy to program as well, it asks how you want to set it up and then if anything doesnt work out can push help and it will ask to solve the problem.
brilliant remote, money well spent.

Hey,

Thanks for the offer but I want cash rather than a trade (well obviously unless its a completely crazy trade!)

Anyone interested then?

Hi, I'm interested but the price is too high for me.
Misco seem to do it new for £33 delivered.

I can offer £25?

Hadn't found that, and based my price on ebay etc.

Misco are not exactly cheap for postage though obviously thats for new kit.

I will adjust to £30 delivered, but £25 is just a bit too low, sorry.

£35.28 inc VAT from misco delivered.
Amazon have these at nearly £50 atm! eeeeeeeek!

How is it £35 delivered? It says £4.69 as the cheapest postage option, £10 for next day?

ignore: found supersaver ;)

Will still stick at £30 I think, with first class post included... so less waiting.

I'll remove tonight and stick on ebay if not.

How Easy Are These To Program ?

Not Too Sure On Them, But Like The Idea Of Just One Remote, Will It Work With Tv, PS3 + Virgin ?

Will do anything that is IR really... when something comes out, people make a settings database for it...

It is easier then any all in one remote, you dont have to programme functions, even for smaller brands ie my Hannspree TV it already had all the settings, so you just tell it what you have and it assign buttons to relevant keys. No more finding codes for things and not supporting them.

And will work wonders with TV, Virgin, however the ps3 is bluetooth i believe (dont own one) and thus would not be able to work it due to this being an infrared remote. But you can set it for exmaple when you press "watch tv" that it turns on the tv, turns the tv to the virgin channel, turns virgin on. so magic...one button on one remote instead of two remotes and at least 3 buttons to press!

Same would still work with ps3 you could set it to "Play PS3" and have tv turn on, put tv on ps3 channel. but obviously would have to turn the ps3 on itself.

its not my sale...but i have had one of these since nov, and i havent looked back. I will easily consider a harmony one remote in a year or two!

They are the best remote ive ever owned, i hate all in one remotes and programming them as they never do everything 100%...these do!

Someone just PMd me about a post I edited earlier.

Have told him to post on this thread, rather than discuss in PM.
#22
T'was I that pm'ed

Not to make an offer but to clarify an email I received from HUKD earlier.

"........I can offer £25?
---End Quote---
Hadn't found that, and based my price on ebay etc.

Make it £25 + £2 for postage and it's a deal. Paypal gift though please, or pay fees. ....."

The post seems to have disappeared so I didn't know if it was genuine or not.

thanks

It was genuine until I realised there was postage on top of the misco deal.

I will honour that deal (£27 delivered), but if this isn't sold - for £27 - in the next 2/3 hours, I'm putting it on ebay, where they don't seem to have seen the misco deal!

Hi vibeone, sorry it was my fault I didn't realise that postage was extra either.

Happy to accept the offer if it stands. If not no probs.

If you wish to take it to pm that's cool and I will pay via paypal gift.
