Hi there, thanks for the reply.
I will make sure it is insured for £1000
If you're in London i'll probably post via the courier the shop i work in uses (Fastway)
Unless of course they are more expensive, then i'll use UPS ( the same courier apple uses) at a cost of £34.06 including £1000 insurance.
May i ask when next week you would be able to pay?

many thanks

Thanks Nacider, you beat me to adding my own photos lol
#5
trust Nacider the super duper IT person! ;)

---- re: payment, it is mainly because i need to confirm this purchase with someone who was looking for a MacBook Pro. i am not the one buying it (already have my own) but i will be checking the specs for him and he's back on Monday.

but just in case my best mate is unable to proceed .... anyone else who is interested you should post your interest here too.

Will you fancy part ex with MacBook 2.4 Core Duo, 2Gb Ram, 320Gb HDD plus 150 cash, as because Apple is doing a deal 15% discount on MacbOok Pro for student plus you will have a FREE iPod Nano, latest design. Also 10,000 tracks download free from iTunes if you know the trick. If not, no worry as I will sell mine and buy from Apple

Heovang: Thanks, but i'd rather just sell it to raise ££. Plus i've had a standard macbook before as well and really didn't like quality of the screen!

cheers though

I forgot to mention it also comes with the Apple Remote and a DVI>VGA adapter and OSX Tiger discs should you prefer Tiger

how old is the mac? any warranty? any software? and has it got the multi touch trackpad?

Cheers
#13
It is now out of warranty but if it had faults they would have shown by now. I can't find the exact date of purchase but it was 2007 when they started making models with 2.33Ghz.
It has 2 finger up/down left/right scroll but not multitouch zoom etc.
I will be perfoming a clean install on it. I need to keep hold of my Logic Pro, iwork discs etc.

Ilife will be installed (garageband etc)
