I'm selling a full retail licence copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate.
It has not been installed or even opened yet.

Being the Ultimate edition, you get all of the latest Office applications.
Look here for all the info on it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Office-2007-Ultimate-PC/dp/B000HEV6NO

I bought this through a student promotion but already received a copy through my old school so have no need for it.
This particuler edition currently sells for over £500.

The licence allows you to install the software on 2 computers, a desktop and a laptop, so you don't have to buy two copies!

It is exactly the same licence that you would get if you bought the retail version, available online and in the shops except the installation discs that I will send are in a different packaging to the retail version (see pic).

Looking for £150 inc. postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day.

Shipping/Payment:
I will send the item via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day.

Payment will be via PayPal ( I am a verified member) or bank transfer.

Can't sell on a student edition -

It is still a good price for those people who aren't eligible for any offers... :p

If you think it's too steep, make me an offer!

Also I've checked the terms, and I'm pretty sure I can sell the licence due to it being a normal retail licence as you would get in the shops.

While tempting... I'm gonna have to say no to that one.

It is exactly the same software as Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate (which is currently £567.98 on Amazon), it just comes in different packaging.
But I received it through a student offer from uni.

Academic software is not licensed for use in a commercial environment or a business. It is intended for use by Students and Teachers.

It's also available here http://www.ecostsoftware.com/uk/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?pid=3046 At £150- far cheaper than £500

For all intents and purposes this is not "academic" software, it is exactly the same as the fully priced retail version.
It is just the discs come in different packaging as I was offered a download, but chose to have the discs sent to me.

I know Academic software is not licenced for sale, but the licence which I have is designated FPP, and as such is subject to the same terms of use as the full retail version, which states that you can do a transfer of the software.
Whereas the one you linked to has different terms, I think, due to it being an educational licence.

Here's a link to the info I've read through, let me know if you think I'm getting it wrong as I'm no legal expert :p

It was worth a try... :whistling:

I originally bought it with the intention of using it, but then found out I could get a free copy from my old school, so now have no use for it.

I actually bought it for £47 due to the extra costs of the discs. :p

how about £50 all in then?
#14
Hold on a minute, regardless of how much I paid for it, it is still a decent price for those people who can't get it athrough any offers.

You guys linked to all sorts of different academic products but missed the point that this version is not the cheap academic version.

Don't worry about it.

I'm gonna withdraw it as obviously some people are a bit uptight today!

I'd advise editing the heading to say EXPIRED and asking a mod to lock the thread then. Otherwise the comments will probably go on and on...

Not abuse mate but you must know that this is a deals site and people are not stupid so asking for £150 office is taking the Micky and then you say you only paid £47 for it you are asking for trouble sorry to upset you but its the truth.

I only started it at 150 knowing people always offer stupidly low amounts. I would have let it go for less.

Thanks for your opinion anyway.

I could've given it away (and I know some people would have, but I'm afraid that's not me!), but sorry to break it to you guys but it's not how the world works.

Irrelevant now anyway as it's no longer for sale. ;-)

Psychochimp has now been banned for one day- he admitted paying only £47 for this edition and so shouldn't have made an asking price of £150, nor should he have claimed his software was worth over £500.

All off topic comments have been removed- please don't enter into personal arguments if you disagree with an OP's asking price, or their comments, simply report them :) Threadspoiling is also a bannable offence
