It's an unwanted upgrade just don't have enough money for an iPhone.
On Orange/Tmobile and possibly Virgin.
Brand new sealed.
1 Year Warranty from Apple!

Traded it for a Three*
I am currently using it so not sealed but still practically brand new

They do it through the serial number (they don't ask who the owner is to be honest).

Samsung Galaxy S on Orange (5 months old but in as new condition) + £300?

Galaxy S sells on here for more than £250 second hand so you'll do better out this deal than £550 if you chose to sell the Galaxy S!

no they're not,

YOUR IPHONE IS LOCKED TO T-MOBILE

you should clearly state this to avoid complications with the sale regarding network locks etc.. as your phone is locked to tmobile and your stating that it is unlocked to 3 different networks..

5 piccies in there mate, as you can see it's in perfect nick with no scratches to screen or phone housing. It's been in the case since I got the phone and I'd chuck that in as well. It also has an extra 8gb microSD HC card in it as well which will also come with it if we do the deal.

Spoke to my mate who works in Tech Support for T-Mobile.

"It should be ok as long as it's not been used with any other sim, it shouldn't lock to a network until it gets activated through itunes and it should lock to the network of the sim inserted then"

This guy had no problem? I'm pretty sure he would've tested it.

it dosent hide the fact that it is from tmobile,

TMOBILE AND ORANGE SHARE SIGNAL YES, BUT THE PHONE HAS TO BE UNLOCKED TO USE BOTH CARRIERS

if somehow you activate the phone with a orange sim then the phone will be LOCKED to orange and you cannot use TMOBILE signal

Meaning you can put in an orange sim for the first time but once you do that it'll be locked to every other network apart from orange even though I got it off tmobile?

There are other Samsung Galaxy S phones going for £260-£290 secondhand on here so my phone + £300 is a good deal considering your only wanting £550 cash for it.

You'll be getting one of the best Android phones out at the moment if you decide to keep it as well. Only reason I'm interested is I think I'm in danger of becoming an apple fanboi and fancy an iphone to keep my ipad company.

Also yes, from my mate at t-mobile as I understand it if the phone is activated on itunes with an orange sim it will then be locked to Orange even though it was a t-mobile contract.

Although the reported stolen thing shouldn't be an issue as it's brand new and box sealed meaning when it's activated the warranty etc will be in the purchasers name. Also in this instance as my mate works at t-mobile and I could provide proof of purchasing this it would leave the seller open to being charged with fraud if he reported it stolen.

Also if he didn't pay his bill his sim card would be cut off, not mine.

You contradict yourself here, as an Orange customer I get access to T-mobile coverage. As a t-mobile customer I would have access to Orange coverage. Everybody who has an Orange phone hasn't had to unlock their phone to use T-mobile coverage and vice versa with T-mobile customers.

If the iPhone is activated on an Orange sim it will be locked to Orange sim cards but you will still be able to use T-mobile coverage as that right is for Orange customers.

I think my feedback speaks for itself. There's always a risk when buying a contract phone, there's always a risk doing anything. It's well know that I have been scammed on here before I don't have any plan on scamming anyone I'll have my money and you'll have the phone that you rightfully paid for. I'd have no problem giving you all my details and whatever you need.

Not saying you would scam me, just pointing out the other poster it wouldn't be worth your while to :)

Sure, have a think about it. But I'm not going to wait forever, there's a couple of people looking for similar part-exchanges on another forum I use so let me know asap please so I can pursue a deal with them if you decide your not interested.

Apart from the fact you cant compare to ebay prices that auction has SCAM written all over it X)

heh worth a shot anyway, iPhone 4 prices are going to drop as Apple will undoubtedly have their annual "refresh" in Summer with a new iPhone revision and that straight away hammers the value. Good for buyers, bad for sellers :)

That's in July it is now March.
It doesn't straight away HAMMER the value, 3Gs' are still going around £250.
