I have two of these for sale, they are both identical condition apart from one of them makes a grinding noise when you first insert a disc for a few seconds while it first accesses the disc and then plays normally (it's done that for ages) while the other just plays normally from the outset.

Anti Shock
Multiformat disc supporting divx/xvid, dvd, vcd, svcd, cd, mp3, cr-r, cd-rw, jpeg
Region free playback plays pal and ntsc dvds

Comes with battery pack & charger, remote control, audio video cable, 12v car adapter

Both have superficial nicks and scrathes to the machine, however both screens still have their factory fitted protectors and as such the screens are flawless.

£40 for the perfect one
£35 for Mr Grindy

SOLD *** Mr Grindy for £25 to therapy70 *** SOLD

***Not Region Free I am afraid, all the websites out there were lieing***

No receipt, both approx 9 months old
number 1 bump
Does this have AV input?
Would you take £25 for Mr Grindy?
Would you take £25 for Mr Grindy?

Yes that's fine, How would you be paying?
I can pay by BT over the counter at Barclays on Monday if you PM your details.
okie doke, let's go to PM
How long does the battery last? No chance you would take £25 for the other one?
A couple of hours, I mostly used them off the mains so sorry to be a bit vague on exact timing. I could do a test if you want over the weekend.

No I couldn't take £25 for the non grindy one, the offer is a bit low.
How about £26 BT? and it aint that necessary the battery test, oh also it region free?
It's region free, but £26 isn't even close to what I would consider.
Ill leave it then as i dont see how a £5 difference makes sense as its doesnt make a difference to the play or disc condition (so you said) so will stick to £26 BT let me know if you change your mind :)

I won't, but thanks for the offer. If £26 is as good an offer as it gets I will sell elsewhere.
If it has video out then i would go to £27?
It does have video out, but we are too far apart in our values to see a deal happening I am afraid. I let Mr Grindy go cheaply as technically it's a faulty machine and I didn't know it's true worth, however this one is perfect.
30 delivered for the other one bt
30 delivered for the other one bt

Sorry for the delay, no thanks.
Take £32 for the other one assuming you can get it to me by Saturday? oh and it does come region free with a remote so i can plug it into my tv?
Wouldn't be able to get it to you by saturday for certain as the parcel is almost 2kg and as such goes standard parcels rather than 1st class. It's not region free (probably has a remote hack somewhere), I thought it was until I put a region 1 disc in while doing a final test on Mr Grindy.
could you test a R1 dvd in the player (not the one you tried in grindy if you have any others) as it could be just grindy as i am interested but would want it to be region free to replace my DVD player, and looking on the internet i dont think i have found one for sale which isn't region free nor have i found a code..
If I posted tomorrow there is a high chance it wouldn't arrive by Saturday as standard parcels is tricky to judge delivery times. Just tested this machine and just like grindy it's not region free.
i dont think i want it without it being region free as was really after it replacing my current DVD player :(

EDIT: ok i will stick to my offer of £32 but thats inc. delivery and paypal fees (was going to offer £34 but i was gonna justify that by chucking out my old one lol) Sorry about all that decided i will try plan in advance and back-up the disc so i can watch them on long journeys anyway let me know if you will accept £32 and i will send it pretty much straight away.
No probs, I think the fact it plays ntsc as well as pal meant all the sites wrongly thought that meant it was region free.
But when would you have an NTSC R2 :s and what is the lowest you would accept and dispatch tomorrow?

Also unless optronix just flat out lie they are supposed to be region free (from amazons manufactures blurb) 'This player is Multi regional and allows you more freedom to play a great number of DVDs available from different countries around the world'
It doesn't mention multiregion anywhere on the box or manual, like I said I assume people read the "plays ntsc" as multiregion.
But when would you have an NTSC R2 :s and what is the lowest you would accept and dispatch tomorrow?
I had a sex in the city season 1 region 2 that was ntsc. Bear in mind it plays divx/xvid so ntsc would be good for that. I have concerns that you want it by saturday though to be able to complete a sale, because it's highly likely not to make it in time.
well if you send it out tomorrow... then it most lightly will arrive if not i dont mind im not going to blame you i would just preffer it by then but would not be the pincle of me buying it. So best price?
