You have offered a set value, so £15 whereas...
garbage456
will take at asking as long as postage is around cost at £8, so £18

...garbage456 here has said will take at asking with the term as long as postage is around £8.

Therefore in many ways garbage456 technically has offered slightly more. But as above, the OP can sell to whomever they wish anyways.

LOL i must have been seconds ahead of you then :santa:
as im above you :whistling:

Think it's upto Moe to say who wins, no worries
just the thought of my kids faces on xmas day with no ps1... lol
#11
wow, didn't expect this quick of a reply...

I've just weighed it, and it's 1.1 stone (7kg) before packaging... so, if I package securely, it will be 8.5kg, and that would cost postage of £12.61 from Royal Mail parcel (April 2009 Royal Mail Leaflet)
If I get it under 8kg, then it'll be £11.74

So whichever way you look at it, both offers haven't covered the cost of posting. I don't know much about couriers, so if you can find a courier.... get a quote for under 10kg, dimensions: W40cm, L60cm, H25cm

I think forum rules prohibit bidding, but not sure what the rules say about accepting from multiple offers and/or gazumping.

Are there any mods to clarify?

Edit: When finding quotes from couriers, please find one I can actually get to. I can get to Great Yarmouth and surrounding area, but not to Norwich.

From the Collect+ Website,

Great Value!
Send parcels weighing up to 10kg and measuring up to 50x30x30cm with full online tracking for only £3.99

So, I don't think I can do it via Collect+? Unless they have a different option....

I don't have a car, so will they pick it up? Or do I have to bus out to deliver it @ their branch?

Sellers should take responsibility for their own sales, including p&p costs. Leaving it to buyers to decide which courier and cost leaves sellers liable in the event of trade disputes.

A cheap courier might not offer enough insurance. In the event of a dispute, who's the contact point, the member arranging collection rather than the seller instructing. This conflicts with fs/ft rules requiring the seller to take responsibility at all times.

OP - You should decide which offer you wish to accept. This should be no more than £10 + the actual cost of shipping.
banned#21
OP can sell to whoever they wish. They must however ensure that no listings turn into auctions based upon p&p add ons.

#22
Think it's in the sellers hands now mate, we can do no more.
My post was 1st as it's above yours so i should get 1st turn at buying it, as i did offer the £10 the seller wanted and why ever the shipping would be, but up to seller.

Thanks Mod for helping us out. unrealuk.
#23
Yeah, sorry guys... when the thread was locked, I didn't know what was going to happen... so I posted it up for sale on fleabay...

Will have to get mods to expire this now and can reopen a new one if it doesn't get sold. If it makes any difference, unrealuk was first to offer asking plus full cost of posting, so I probably would've sold it to him.

Again, I sincerely apologise.
#24
Thanks, mate for getting back to us.
ok if you don't sell please pm me and il have it if i've not found another one.
