You advertised this exact same item twice yesterday.

Listing is not the same to ensure item for sale complies with site rules...

Sorry I can get one brand new for £100 without even trying I'm sure I could get one cheaper?

May be able to pick up new PSP for a push at £100 I guess if you shop around/use discount codes, but modding firmware to 3.53 M33-2 required to play latest firmware out in past 6 months can easily result in console breaking/bricking...

This also includes 2gb memory card. Thanks for interest and comments

FYI:
I bought one yesterday for £90 here at HotUKDeals, but the thread was removed just after I had paid for it.

Not sure if one of the Moderators did that because of the nature of the custom firmware, though.

You can unbrick them in minutes. So it's not an issue.

Yes. The Royal Mail tried to delivery it by Special Delivery today but nobody was in to receive it, so I have to go to the Sorting Office tomorrow.

Were you asking because you were interested in buying?

(I have another black PSP with official firmware 2.00, that I could offer... but I'm not trying to take over this thread).

Syzable, I hate to correct you (honest:whistling: ) but it is possible to completely brick with 3.71 custom firmwares and NOT be able to recover with the pandora battery!!
It is all to do with Flash 0 and USB hooks to it on the XMB, basically if you have a phat and brick like that you will need to restore a nand dump from another phat psp, not to bad.
If the same thing happens on a PSP slim and you dont have a previous nand dump, you have a completely unrecoverable brick, as the nand read/ write is encrypted and so far the encryption methods have not been cracked, meaning you can only reflash the nand with a back up of the system software previously on it!
whew, that was a mouth full to get out :)

Mike..

well unless you have firmware 3.60 on the psp lite then you wont be able to get custom firmware on it easily...
#16
PSP Lite/Slim are supposed to be a bit more flimsy as well arn't they, especially around UMD draw? I read that they way they have made it slimmer is by removing hand grip ridges underneath (which without would make it impossible to hold.)

I think price I am asking is reasonable especially based on mint condition and extras like memory card
#17
Don't fool for marketing...it's lighter, but cheaper made...if you want a lite, please buy one, but I prefer this.
#18
let's agree to differ.
[mod]#19
lorraine_kirkby
I have one mate so i know believe me there better.

So have i, and i prefer my original. The lite is sitting in a drawer.
#20
Wouldn't a PS2 be better for that?
I mean, the games are basically the same :giggle:
[mod]#21
lorraine_kirkby
well sell it then. I think it is great being able to play your games and watch movies on the big screen especially on a 50" plazma :)

I did that...............the graphics are exceptionally poor on a big screen LCD when you're used to playing 360 games on it.
#22
lorraine_kirkby
you can buy a slim line for £109 delivered for free so £100 is not worth it now.

Is that a UK PSP "Slim & Lite", or one from another region?

Please post a link as reference.

Thanks.

How much are you wanting for yours??
#24
lorraine_kirkby
Its from japan in a range of different colour i have a silver and white one.
The link is

Thanks.

I already have a "Phat & Heavy" Metallic Blue PSP console; bought on the day of release (21 December 2007) last year by a friend in Japan, opened to charge the battery & packed-out with newspaper [so that it was effectively 'used' for customs purposes], and then sent to me. It arrived in the few days between Christmas & New Year.

The £109 you quoted may well be subject to customs charges, too, of course.

Apart from Renchi.com, Games-Asia must be one of the few Companies that Sony have not stopped importing to the UK.

Fanpages you ask the questions = we get more info on the product. All i can say is keep asking em really, as most people will say does it work and then they'll buy it lol.

Something interest me so i ask about it, but if i dont want it then i have simply lost interest in it. Just cause i asked questions about the product doesnt mean i am gonna buy it.

Ask away fanpages, lol you save me time in asking some questions and i get to know other stuff about the products that i thought wouldnt matter

Thank you :) I am glad I am helping somebody else other [edit: "than"] myself.

...and I agree... without asking about a product, it's history, any faults, and so on, how are you going to know if you want it, and if it is worth the asking price?

As we are, in vast majority, all private buyers of somebody else's own private goods, the Distance Selling Regulations are not applicable, and there will be no defence for anybody if an item is not as described other than mediation through Moderator contact, and the good nature of the seller if there is a legitimate reason for fault or there has been unintentional misrepresentation.
