FS rules...
(15) The only exception to this is if you see the EXACT item priced higher than available new elsewhere. In this case a third-party can make a post but ONLY in the following format: LINK TO MERCHANT - PRICE. No comments, just the facts. This must be the final price (after VAT/shipping) for a new product and from a reputable merchant. Price comparison to auction sites, classifieds or other personal sales are not allowed. Members who do not follow these posting rules face a ban from the FS/FT forum.

Your apology will be accepted :)

Its rude accusing me of being rude as I didnt KNOW it was cheaper but its rude to shove it in my face and act all high and mighty.

As it stands if you have been more polite I would have matched that price but now I wont I mean I still have the receipt with £45 on it.

Im just going to see if I can return it again

Gamemetal are ok but very slow ;-) and sometimes they send NTSC discs.

EDIT: there you go: http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=631367 Make sure you read all the posts though as people thought they were bad at first lol.

Just go back to the shop and tell them that they sold i to someone under age and you demand a refund before you complain about them selling 18 rated games to kids!
That should get them in to the mood a little quicker, unless of course you paid by card and then it all gets a little messy.

That's a shame, you could always say it was FOR a younger relative, until you discovered it was "such an evil, violent game" if it is still shrink wrapped they should really take it back tbh.

Act all high and mighty? I said a 100% factual comment., in the format that is described by the mods. It states that I should put no other wording, just the price and link. Dont blame me that you did not like the price. You were the person who escaled the argument with your retort...Then go and buy it there and dont post abouit it on my thread and spoil it

and £38 at shopto instock..

Yes you did, you quoted twice and I didnt dislike the price, I would of been happy to sell for that price but the way you worded things was as if I was being greedy asking for what I wanted which is UNDER the RRP.

And besides its known dont reply to a thread unless interested, i.e if you wanted item but saw it cheaper then its acceptable but to just say its cheaper isnt very tactful imo

Quoting the link a second time proves it, I never said you were wrong, I never said for anyone to not buy from shopto, in fact I encoruage it

The rules are like that to stop people from coming onto listings and saying "I can get this cheaper elsewhere)" just to drop price down without proof but you are using it so finely to start and argument and are acting like a child imo.

I came on...I quoted the price ONCE correctly.
You then whinged about it as if I had done something wrong (which I hadnt).
I then quoted the rules...which you AGAIN complained about :? And said was incorrect.
I then told you the rules again to show that I was within the rules.
You then said I was being rude again (even though I followed the rules)
I then quoted a cheaper price (again as per rules)
You then whinged about that too.

Sorry, but your threads are not beyond questioning. You got very shirty just because I pointed out that it was cheaper elsewhere..which I had every right to do. If you had just taken the price onboard (like most people do) and said.."oh I didnt realise that, I will (a) remove from sale, or (b) match that price....then perhaps this pointless debate wouldnt exist

Can you not read? I didnt mind matching the price but the way you came across was insulting and you saw things the way you wanted which is what annoys me.

Following the rules doesnt mean you werent rude, it was bad taste to quote from the rules TWICE once was enough.

I NEVER got shirty it was cheaper thats wishful thinking on your part, I got "shirty" with the fact you HAD to point out that it was when you had no intention of purchasing my item, had you quoted the price and been more tactful in your reply I would have been "oh ok then I will lower price to match it" but you had to quote from the rules acting as if I am stupid and you are all knowing.
