I took delivery of a 32" tv yesterday, but the girlfriend doesnt like it and says its too big for the kids bedroom. Fair enough!!

Its boxed, brand new, comes with 3 year warranty and is HD ready. Hdmi ports, pc etc etc, full spec below. The tv is an unwanted freebie. They currently sell for around £300 and upwards.

I am asking £260 no offers and collection only from Stockport.

Your asking price is toooooooo high :-(

On sale with ebuyer for £295 delivered using their 5 day service.

Your £20 difference isn't worth the hassle of having a new one delivered to your door, with also the option of returning it in the event of a problem

With all that said ,there are better LCD TV's for a few pounds more with Freeview and a native 1080. Eventually this TV will require an external Freeview or Sky box to view anything. The market will be soon full of these seemingly 'bargains' so watch out! No Freeview, I'm out.

& I would advise you to put up some pictures with your username on a piece of paper next to it to prove it is in your possession
#3
Wow, that much hassle to prove i have the thing. It isnt worth the messing about.
#4
It's not worth me losing a couple of hundred quid over neither:thumbsup:
#5
posting a pic with a handwritten note is hardly hassle. Especially if you are keen to sell it
#6
What, hassle?

Get your camera out, a pen and paper, write your name on it, put in next to the tv and take pic then upload, bingo, all done, less than 5 minutes work!!

Good lucky with your sale, I hope you have it advertised elsewhere because it won't sell on here as it stands!!

A) You need to drop you price a little, not too much, just a little, and B) A pic of the actual TV would be nice for perspective buyers so they can see it before they travel how ever far to collect.

you slipped up you cannot advertise elsewhere as per forum rules rolf :p:-D

Anyone suspect this could be pompeyfootball (or whatever his name is - you all know who I mean!!!!! :-D) in disguise?
#9
Are you lot for real? Suspect? Whats all that about? Advertised elsewhere? Was that my post that said that or somebody elses? You all need to get a grip. Point taken re being overpiced, so 10% cheaper than anywhere else at £260 has got to be a bargain, obviously only if you are local to me.

Pictures attached.

Thought it was innocent til proven guilty, shouldn't judge others by your own standards.

cant you send it back for a full refund, distance selling, etc?

estorilbluem your new here so wouldn't understand my post. Basically there is a guy on here who has been trying to sell the same set of TVs for the past 6 months or so and keeps relisting them every few weeks. It was just a joke, no offence was meant. I think the forum regulars would know what I was on about :-)

Incidentally his were samsungs, not TECOs. Good luck with the sale

I made a posting with 3 flickr links and it needs moderating or something. Search for estorilbluem on flickr, theres 3 pic on there.

how come it has a 3 year warranty?
I though teco gave 2 year warranties as standard as they are based in germany
