Sorry for the ebay style heading!

With me now ready to post, retail when out in the UK in March will be £39.99 so that is what I am asking for. This includes postage - 1st class recorded.

39.99 is fair as I am taking the paypal fees and the postage and I bought the item, also the envelope.

NO negotiation on price at all and no trades.

http://imageshack.us/?x=my6&myref=

Merry christmas to all, even the people who will no doubt find something wrong with what I am selling!
Shipping/Payment:
Paypal only - must be verified.

If payment received before 4pm friday 21st then I will post it today. If pay friday night then it will be posted saturday. The faster you pay the more chance of having it for christmas.

1st class recorded delivery

Yes I posted the link to it as a "hot deal"

31.99 + postage + paypal fees + envelope + the fact that you can have it for christmas compared to movitymes sloooow postage and slow supply of stock = 39.99

Mmmm I will give it a few weeks after it’s officially released as no doubt it will be found and posted on here for £20!

Does anybody pay full retail anymore?

Best of British!

Not arguing..can see why you have inflated the price...to cover your own costs etc.
I think I will just wait for the postage and save £8 :p
1st class recorded = £1.40.
Use the same jiffy bag as it arrived in... = free
paypal fees = £1.50 ?
So will cost you £3 in reality.
Would buy for £35. (I know you dont want offers but its there if you change your mind)
GOod luck :)

I really dont know why Ive wasted my time listing it here, its a site for bargain hunters who if the seller was asking £1 for a PS3 would bargain it down to 50p!

Mods can you close this?

I'll either ebay it or give it as a present.

Mate, I dont ever knock people down off a fair price.
But its £8 more than I need to pay. I offered it to you at cost price plus your expenses...so if thats not good enough you are clearly just after £5 profit.

Ok, go to ebay..sell for £40..lose 9% on final value fees, and your initial cost to advertise. Thats your £5 gone :)

I thought this was a site for HOT deals!

Am I the only one or does asking £39.99 seem a bit steep!

Well thats the retail price and it isnt out here until march 2008, as I said in a previous post this listing should be closed as it is no longer for sale.

I clicked the expired link but nothing seems to have happened.

Where are the mods nowadays?!

Sold it within 45 mins on ebay, got £43 inc p&p. Someone can obviously see value in paying slightly more to get the game next day. Paid straight away and verified too.

It seems that there's a bunch of users who make sure goods are advertised to the letter of the law - I.E go at RRP or for way below retail, commenting/spamming the FS threads - which in a way is good as the mods don't give a damn.

:santa:

off to play my version of UT3.......:p

Well done... I have no argument with you selling on ebay ...
I had no argument with you selling for over £30 here. I just said that I personally could only justify offering less. You refused..but could have waited for somebody else.
I have lived all my life without UT3....I can wait a week ;)
Its Xmas...I have friends and a family...so wont play it over the period much anyway.
Well done for selling

No, you're over-charging when it can be had cheaper, you're profiteering it seems and that's frowned upon. If you want to sell it at a price higher than you paid, you take it to eBay. This is a bargain website, I don't know what else you expected.

A few people showed interest via PM so i decided to instead of deal through PM put a for sale thread up so poeple could contact me above board through here and give anyone else who might be interested a chance, but that did not happen.

Profiteering is selling a wii for £250 when retail is £180. When unreal tournaments RRP is £49.99 but most UK retailers selling for £39.99 as pre orders I think that originally putting £39.99 was fair.

Listing a game at pre order price actually in stock, in the UK ready for christmas 3 months before UK release of the same game, I would all quite a good deal.

I clearly listed all my costs and stated why that was the price which is fair - do you expect that of retailers - "well I am interested in an Xbox 360 but I would like a financial breakdown of all your costs please before I can make a judgement if you are making any profit - and if you are making a profit I demand to know why!!!"

As usual the for sale thread is filled with the "Let's pick anything that is listed to bits" brigade who feel the need to comment on everything as if the item has been listed specifically for them.

If your not interested in the goods listed then why post?! You would not feel the need to go into a shop and go up to a member of staff and say "I am not interested in any of your items!" Thank god on ebay there is not a comment section like on here or each auction it would be filled with people posting negative and pointless comments.

Simple fact of the matter was the game was listed for UK RRP, with a picture, payment type stated, postage included, sealed and brand new AND still people complained.

As for the other poster asking where you can get the game use the search function, I put it up about 3 weeks ago.

Erm... I "was" interested in this since I bought a PS3 and love GOW.
I offered a fair amount..you turned it down...even though you would lose no money.
Dont think I did anything wrong mate..
I may whinge in Wii threads...but in this instance I never actually moaned , and offered you more than you paid.
Merry Xmas .. ordered from Movietyme
