I bought this 2 days ago for my PS3/Monitor - Decided yesterday to just get a HDTV to allow me to keep my 360 and PS3 hooked up at the same time.

This has not been used and comes fully boxed.

This can also be used for the Nintendo Wii.

Do you know if with this cable via VGA I will be able to watch BLU-RAY movies in a TV which is not HDCP ?

I already tried via DVI but it does not work.

I guess if you can play games you can watch blu-rays. You'd need to set your PS3 to the correct setting - ie NOT HDMI Cable.

Probably I did not express myself correctly.

The problem that I have is that my TV is one of the first LCD that came out in the market. So it has not got a HDMI port.

I only have DVI and VGA. I have managed to connect the XBOX 360 via VGA and see it in 720p and I have also managed to connect the XBOX 360 via DVI but with no sound.

But the PS3 is a different problem. When I connect the PS3 via scart socket I can watch blu rays, play games, etc but in 480p, but to use it at 720p I have to use either VGA or DVI.

I know that through DVI because is digital I can not watch BLU RAY movies, play games, etc, in fact no video comes out at all in my tv because it does not support HDCP (not HDMI). But I was wondering if I could use this cable VGA (which is analog) and watch BLU RAY movies and play games at 720p.

Are you still selling this cable? would you accept £15? I am just a bit worry that this might not work.

Is there any chance I could test this and if it works I keep it if not then I just send it back to you and pay you for the delivery?

Yeah, I'm not really sure about the whole PS3 scene, more of a 360 guy. I solved my issue by just buying a HDTV.

Not prepared to let it go below £20 tbh as it set me back £24 and I only used it for 5 minutes. Also not prepared to let it go without payment.

Sorry.

No probs mate.

I think £20 is too much for a cable, specially for something that I only going to use once in a while.

I was quite lucky to find the XBOX 360 VGA cable for £3 from CEX online so I just need to move the XBOX 360 instead of the PS3

Never mind I thought it would be a nice to have but never mind I stick with the PS3 in the main TV.

Yep I totally agree with you. Sony haven't released an official VGA cable for the PS3 which is the reason why this cable is so expensive.
