m very attached to my 27" iMac, i've just found that i haven't used it as much as i should.

Decided it's time for a change.

Would consider a trade for any of the following:

- iPad + Macbook + Cash your way depending on spec

Or

- Macbook + Cask my way depending on spec

The 27" iMac is in excellent condition (Picture below). Excuse my carpets, due for a steam clean after inlaws had their dogs round for a week. Also the glare in the top right hand corner is just from the camera.

Has Applecare till January 2013

CPU: 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
RAM: 4GB
HDD: 1TB
GFX: ATI Radeon HD 4670

Comes with a wired compact Apple keyboard or full sized wired Apple Keyboard. Also comes with the new Apple mouse and all required bits and bobs from the box (CD, booklets etc)

Priced at: £1100 inc del.
Location:
Worcester

Interest in the iPad, unfortunately i'm looking for a unibody type macbook.

Would consider iPad + Cash my way though.

I have a 16gb brand new wifi iPad, and a late 2008 unibody 13.3'' MacBook, 2.0ghz intel core2duo, 4gb ram, 160gb hdd - the MacBook has a few scratches on the underneath, but is in generally good condition. Does the iMac come with a wireless keyboard and mouse? Thanks

Comes with the wireless mouse but a wired keyboard, also included is a white remote.

You got the model number for the macbook? pics? Does it come with any applecare?

What kind of deal are you looking for...

I think it's MB466B/A (upgraded to 4gigs of ram myself) I couldn't do pics tonight but would get you some tomorrow if you are interested, umm not sure of what deal would could come to, this is sort of a impulse thing ATM, been looking at a iMac for a while now, and have two laptops on the go!

No AppleCare. It just came with the standared one year warranty.

Yeah I'm interested mate, lack of AppleCare is a bit of a bummer though.

Is the MacBook fully boxed? Apart from the scratchs on the bottom is it in perfect nick?

Due to the lack of AppleCare and spec of MacBook and iPad, I'd be looking for some cash on top. Might be good if u you could make me an offer so I've got an idea.

Cheers..

Yeah I got two desktops.. Finding myself only using one, seems like such a waste.
#12
Sorry I wouldn't add cash on top, not for a core2 iMac, with the discount I get in work I could prob sell my MacBook and iPad and only have to add a little bit for a i3 model. Thanks for the offer though, wish you the best of luck for the sale, sure someone will make you a deal.
#13
Well an out of warranty, scratched and 2008 low spec MacBook isn't worth as much as you may think..

Where apple still sell these iMacs at 1150 a pop refurb. I think a valuation of £1000-1050 due to having AppleCare is fair for my iMac. Where I'd probably put your MacBook at £500 at most.

Good luck with your hunt.

I'm not saying your iMac is overpriced, it's a fair price and I genuinely wish you luck with your sale, yep I know I can sell my MacBook for £600 ATM, and I get a good discount on apple products (thank god with the prices they charge!)
#15
Fair enough mate, if you're able to get that much for your macbook i'd go for it.. I didn't get much more than that when i sold my macbook of the same spec, around 8 months ago. Would of thought resale value would of dipped considerabley by then.

Cheers for the interest.

When was this iMac bought?

I have an early 2009 MacBook Pro 13" and an iPad 16GB that I am getting rid of.

Let me know if any interest. I would want cash my way though as both are absolutely mint!

Original purchase date would be January 2010, with Applecare running till January 2013.

When was your Macbook purchased? Does it come with applecare and if not when is it in warranty until.

Is the iPad a Wifi or Wifi + 3G?

What are you valuing your items at, so ive got an idea what kind of cash your way you're looking for.

Sorry. MacBook Pro is 2010. Thought we were in 2009 still!!!?!?! Doh!!

Ok, easiest way for me to put together a fair trade is use apple i guess. Since both our products are on the refurb store:

Macbook: http://store.apple.com/uk/product/FB991B/A?mco=MTM3NDgzMzI
£999

iMac: http://store.apple.com/uk/product/FB952B/A?mco=MTU3ODU5MzY
£1169

Leaving a £170 difference.

Applecare is £139: (-£20 as a fair knock off due to resalue value)
http://store.apple.com/uk/product/APPLECAREIMAC-102584?mco=MTYzNjAwNjQ

Making a total difference of £289

Last iPad went for £335 collected:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/for-sale-trade/for-sale-bnib-ipad-16gb-wifi-uk-mod/804314

So i'm reckong that's around a £340 fair valuation of the iPad delivered..

Due to all that, i think a fair cash on top would be £50

Just before I make a decision. What are your thoughts on this.

The MacBook Pro with Applecare (I'll purchase) + some cash from me.

How much would you need on that deal?

Not sure mate, it's so difficult doing these valuation sometimes lol. Bloody Apple gear.

I'd prefer the iMac + £50 for the Macbook + iPad deal. As i'm pretty much looking for a Macbook and iPad.

No worries, look forward to hearing from you.
