For Trade - Unlocked Orange San Francisco (White) £85.00

Looking to shift my 4 week old San Fran.

Its a TFT screen, unlocked and rooted, running 2.2 froyo.

Phone doesn't have a single blemish, its in new condition and will come with the orange sim card and £10 top up.

Fully boxed with all accessories and unused wrapped earphones.

I want to sell it to get a Nokia x3-02 touch n type so would prefer a trade for that but would possibly consider a 3g blackberry.

Otherwise price is £85 including RMSD

Will upload pictures in the morning in better light

Cheers, Mike

*****Now only looking for a trade. Looking for something different...so bb's, nokia's or iphone 2g...or if you have something unusual...fire away!*****

Can offer £75 delivered without the SIM card/top up?

I'd want you to post first though as you have no feedback here.

I'd recommend staying away from the X3. My friend had one and it felt cheaply made, horrible buttons and awkward. Plus the amount of faulty ones I see on an auction site is silly.

I'd at least have a play on one in a shop, if you haven't already.

OP is talking about Nokia x3-02 touch n type

X3 is different from x3-02

Would you be able to provide me with any 'security'? No offence but a seller with no feedback doesn't fill me with confidence.

It is standard practice to post first to members who have high feedback, of course it's your call but obviously most people would expect it. Failing that then a sale face to face would be your best bet.

Hope this helps :-)

Please note offer and acceptance must be made in this forum not away from it. Thanks, I would recommend an exchange of details following the rules via pm when acceptance is made.

Ok to comply with what the mod said shall we agree payment method on here and ill confirm payment details over the phone? would that suit?
#21
So to confirm illy1965 you are offering the asking of £85 which I request to be paid by bank transfer.
#22
that's fine by me, if you don't mind is it ok if i pay you by cheque, obviously i will have to wait until this clears in your account before you send me the phone, but i don't mind waiting if that is ok for you. also i should add that i will pay the full asking price (£85)

I would need it by bank transfer I'm afraid because I have no local access to a branch to pay in a cheque. Will that be a problem?
#24
bank transfer will be ok but due to work i probably won't get a chance to do it until next saturday as i can't do it through my online banking

No access to telephone banking? kinda looking to have the money asap if I'm gonna do a deal tbh, sorry if I'm seeming very demanding the phone I'm after is on offer but ends monday.
#26
just had a look at my banks web site and there is telephone banking but i need to sign up for it by an online form or by popping into my local branch, so either way i won't be able to get any money to you by monday. i'll just pull out of the deal just in case someone comes along who can pay you by monday, but if the phone is still about next weekend perhaps we can still do a deal
#27
ok fair enough if its still here come next week ill get back to you.

***Still for sale***
#28
genuinely mint phone...
#29
looking at the bank charges for my bank it would seem that i will have to pay £25 to transfer money over to another persons account by chaps, if this is the only way to transfer money then i will have to pull out of this totally as it will make this phone more expensive than a new one. i've never had to do a bank transfer before so if there is another way can someone let me know
#30
A bank transfer doesn't have to be by Chaps...that is an instant payment method that will charge you sadly.
A normal bank transfer doesn't charge you at all but can take up to 3 days to show in the other person's account.

Let me guess . . . . . santander? You dont do it as a chaps payment! Just a transfer in the same way as money is transfered to pay rent, bills etc. Go into a branch and say you want to transfer some money or register for online banking and do it there. Transfers are free chaps are not.
#32
thanks for the info, i thought there might be another way as i couldn't really see people paying with chaps for any item that wasn't a complete bargain

So no closer to doing a deal?

Would preffer trades at this point...what you all got?

I'll reinstate my offer if you've reconsidered RE: posting first?

Feel free to have a good browse of my feedback - I have done several high value deals including mobile phones and a diamond ring.

I could offer you £80 delivered.... £30 paid on despatch, and the balance paid on safe receipt... by direct Bank Transfer... or half and half

I may not have any feedback on here, but please feel free to check my username on a popular auction site ;) where I have good feedback as a buyer and seller

Hi - I'd be willing to do £35 up front, £40 upon receipt ... on the condition that you provide contact details inc landline number. I'll give you a call to verify and sort out payment. Also - do you have an eBay ID?

What payment method are you wanting?

Sorry mate completely lost track of who was who there, I'm going to decline your offer, I would prefer a trade now that the phone I was looking for has gone up in price. So thank you for your interest but I'm going to relist as trade only.
