£90...Cheapest for the UK set (PAL) is £109.25 from TaxFreeDVD so I feel the price is very fair

It is only £100 at HMV and if you have a 10% student discount it is only £90 (and thats R2) So might want to lower the price?
Hi Jamhops...
You are confusing it with the old boxset..which has worse packaging, flipper discs instead of artwork...4episodes per side instead of 6-7...missing a lot of extras...without the book...etc.;-1;-1;-1&sku=221174;-1;-1;-1&sku=712253

The new improved version is £ my price is fair.

As with any premium set, there is always a higher price for it. I am selling the better set for less than the older inferior set.

Trust me, you are better off with the new set in many ways, and it is a lot nicer to not have to change discs every 60minutes..and worry about them scratching because they are flippers.
Oh..didnt know that (didnt appear on find-dvd search).
Well then I am obviously open to an ONO.

Its still an no PAL speedup issues, and is still cheaper anyway :)
You can get it for about 65/70 on eBay i assume your not going that low?
Hmm..I am intrigued as to how Ebay sellers are allowing it to go for £70 including postage. Either (a) they were gifts and dont know their value, or (b) they wont turn up.
I did note from the pics that it doesnt come with the booklet etc.

I guess I will just remove this from sale because I would rather keep it if its only worth that amount (which is no bad thing as I love Friends)

For instance..
200189732887 (ebay number)
£70 including postage for the R1 (and sealed). He has 10 of them. There is no way on earth you can get them that cheap, so before 10% fees, and his postage..he is making about £50. That is ridiculous.
ok fair enough i didnt expect that those prices could be matched thanks for considering, Sorry to damage the sale just i like a bargain :p
Dont worry, I do it to other people if you can find a better price. I have no comprehension as to how they can sell so cheap (especially when people pay over the odds usually on ebay).
I would buy from that ebay seller myself. But I still cant get my head around how he can sell brand new for £60 plus £10 P&P. He will be left with just over £50, for something that costs a minimum of £80 in the USA online, and equates to £120 after delivery to here and customs (was more when I bought). He has 10 of them, so its not like getting rid of an Xmas present
There is a reason the ebay ones are so cheap, I will leave it to your imagination as to why.....
Well that was my opinion too pinkleponkle
they fell off the back of a lorry?
maybe it was a 17.99 misprice ;)
they fell off the back of a lorry?

R1 dvds fell off a back of a lorry in the United Kingdom, I doubt that. If I was to say "Asian", that should give you your answer.
But run an analysis the disc with some special software if it says its burnt with Nero then you claim on paypal and get a refund and if it is a real disc then i dont really mind, anyway i was going to get the Australian R4
there cheap because the ebay sellers would of got a wholesale lot for cheap so can afford to make £50 profits on them all.

For example, they paid £300 for 10 copies of it, and then if they sell those 10 copies for a £50 profit...they make £500...minus the £300 they originally shelled out gives a quick £200 profit for them
Your maths is a bit out there as they are selling for £50 not making a profit of £50.
£300 for 10? So they got a boxset which costs over £100 for £30? No chance
they may have stated profit but there maths is correct. its £20 profit per box with the figures quoted

anyways is this still for sale? what is the lowest that would be accepted?
Not £20 as ebay take 9% of the £50 and paypal a further 3.4%. It's irrelevant as you have no way of securing these genuine boxsets for £30 anyway.
Hi again Allstar2,

Theoretically, it is still for sale. However, realistically it probably is not, since nobody wants anything unless its £60 :S
As stated, you cannot buy the improved red set for less than £100 in R2, and its even more for £1. I would sell this for £85 delivered, but any less and I want to keep it.
I understand if people would rather pay a bit more and buy from amazon for the no feel free to not buy it :)
But I dont want to drop any lower tbh as it cost me £133, so I would rather keep hold of it. (only selling to have some spending money in New York next week)..
wel its my friend who is after this so i will need to check with them what they want to do but feel free to sell in the meantime.

No worries. As I said..I am kind of torn about selling it. It sits there on a shelf looking pretty....but doesnt actually get used...happy to keep it really.
Wow ... didn't think anyone would buy the "Everybody Loves Raymond" Boxset! hee hee.
