It means as long as you don't go more than 89 days without using the card, it won't expire.

You only have to 'use' it within 90 days in the sense of making a call, you don't have to use up the entire credit within 90 days. so if you use it today, you can then leave it for 89 days and use it again, then leave for another 89 days if you want and then make another call etc...
Hmm I've had mine a while, not from there, but yes that is a good deal. I take it that's 1 per household?
