that it ain't really a deal

i did not say its a deal really but if anyone is going to the state and has to take £500. if you change this at the post office you definately do not get $1000, what about the commission?

This is not stuff, eg psp, memory card etc. people have asked from time to time if anyone has dollars to sell. its like it used or second hand is it?

Buy why change currency on here when it can b done at the post office for the same price. The idea is sell it cheaper than available elsewhere.

What proof do you have these are genuine or that you are not laundering money? lol

imo not worth the risk buying such a large amount of cash for roughly the same price as the post office, esp if it involves the risk of postage. Will Royal Mail insure cash with their Special Delivery service? I think it would be a nightmare trying to claim back £500 worth of cash on their £500 insurance cover, but maybe there is a way of declaring this in advance...? I presume you'd prefer collection - Where are you based?
#17
Can someone please tell me how much dollars I ll get in return for £500 at the post office? Am not exactly sure what am doing wrong.

£400 ..
#21
You'll get $959 for £500.05 with the post office online atm or $968 for £504.75

EDIT: and free delivery on orders over £500 http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/foreignexchange;jsessionid=DVXWR053OSXC4FB2IGEUQEQUHRAYOQ2K?type=buy&pageId=fex_main&catId=19300210

If $959 is almost a $1000. I doubt 41 dollars is chicken fee.

No. Royal Mail don't insure cash, even on special delivery. So if the postman nabs it, it's gone. Collection is the only option for this one.

Why don't you save yourself the hassle of selling on here and just take them down the local currency exchange. Or wait till the dollar recovers somewhat and you could get more for them.
#25
Can post it special delivery. Say it's jewellery or something else quite valuable.
#26
$1000 at the post office will give you £473.00
£504.75 at the post office will get you $968

the seller does not want to loose the extra cash so offering some one on here. you save $30 saayinla saves £30($60) make a better deal and im sure some one will buy. £490 so equal saving to both.
#27
I got 193 to the £1 today so £1.930 = £100

my 400 offer....

I would have considered having the dollars from you but im afraid the risk is too much for me it is not a bad deal for someone who could pick up

i just paid 517.54 for 1000 dollars at rate 1:9322

and i would rather pay the extra to have the money there and then

i think you would get more interest if the amounts were smaller as the risk would not be so great

good luck with sale
#32
or maybe if you made the gain more tempting to the buyer
