I'm looking to sell my Macbook Pro Unibody, this is the base spec one from the site at £1369, bought on November 2nd so warranty runs untill 2/11/09, decided to downsize to a smaller (13.3") laptop. There is a small indent on the bottom right of the casing (looking down from top with the opening facing towards you) from transport when I didn't have a proper case, other than that this is in excellent condition.

Specs for the laptop are:

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor 1066MHz FSB 3MB L2 Cache
2GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM
250GB 5400rpm Hard Drive
NVIDIA 9600M GT 256MB + 9400M Graphics Cards
15.4-inch LED-backlit glossy (glass) widescreen, 1440 by 900 pixels
Aluminium Unibody enclosure.

Size and Weight
Height:
0.95 inch (2.41 cm)
Width:
14.35 inches (36.4 cm)
Depth:
9.82 inches (24.9 cm)
Weight:
5.5 pounds (2.49 kg)

Removable lithium-polymer battery (4600mAh)
Up to 5 hours of wireless productivity
Connections and Expansion
MagSafe power port
Gigabit Ethernet port
One FireWire 800 port (up to 800 Mbps)
Two USB 2.0 ports (up to 480 Mbps)
Mini DisplayPort
Audio line in (Analog & Optical)
Audio line out (Analog & Optical)
ExpressCard/34 slot
Security cable lock slot

EDIT : Pressed enter too early,

Looking for 1075, this includes the laptop, charger, a polishing cloth for display, and the Brenthaven case (Metrolite II in Black) which I can provide pictures for, or knock £25 off if not interested.

Shipping/Payment:
Will only do the transaction in person as I don't have the feedback here to be trusted on selling such an expensive item. (based in South East, Berks and Hampshire) Can travel a little way for a small cost. Will ship if wanted but won't post first.

Hi, I see you are looking for a 13.3" Mac. Would you consider a trade for my Unibody Mac 13.3"? Its the 2ghz spec one on the apple website. Has warranty till end of december, so two months longer than yours! Let me know?

Depends on what you offer, I'd only really be interested in 13.3" laptops at the moment, but let me know what you have and I'll let you know. Prefer cash though.

I'd prefer a Macbook Air really, but I'll consider it, would need cash on top though in the region of £350-400.

I also have a Macbook 13.3 unibody, 2ghz.. Only 1-2 months old.. So has around 11 months warranty left. I'd be looking to pay £250 max on top for a trade tho, due to how new it is.

Plus you live way to far away from me for collection, so you'd have to send first i'm afraid. Is the way it is on here.

I'm only new and had to send an iPhone 3G 8GB in a trade first and a Asus Laptop aswell. People won't take the risk otherwise.

No offense to you or anyone else but I'd rather do the deal in person rather than send an item on faith of someone I've never met before. Just don't really feel comfortable with it.

Completely understand mate, i wasn't exactly happy about sending out my iPhone either. Just you may run into problems selling this on here, since you need to find someone who lives near you.

I suggest if someone does make a deal you're interested in.. To request details such as there place of work.. Put your mind at ease a bit more, since not many people are gonna risk having some irritate selling ringing up where they work.

I know it's the way things are done, I'm not fussed about travelling a couple of hours in my car though for the safety. I guess I just can't really sell it to anyone in the north that's all.

Sorry, don't really need any more storage space, thanks for the offer though.

Well i live in Burton Upon Trent mate, which is right by Birmingham.. Not entirely sure - but i believe it's more than a couple of hours.

In any case mate, heres some pics of my macbook. It's in perfect condition, no dints dents or scratches and comes with a case. As i said, bought about a month ago so got around 11 months warranty left. I can throw £250 on top, or i've got a PS3 with quite a few games i'm willing to let go if you'd prefer.

Reason i'd not be willing to go anywhere near 350-400 in exchange is due to how new this is. It's hardly been used. As i bought an iMac at the same time.

Well with the distance I'd not really be interested unless it was about £300 on top as it's gonna cost £35-40 in petrol to get there and back, it's up to you though, possibly £250 and a couple of PS3 games depending on what you have.

Sorry I already have an iPhone.

Afraid £250 is my max and i wouldn't wanna throw in any PS3 games with that. I would of done if the Macbook Pro didn't have the small dent.

It would only cost you £10 to send it via DHL next day though :)

That's alright, good luck finding a trade

Edit: It would cost that, but I don't really want to send it first as I've made aware :P

Ok bud no worries, you to :).

I would try ebay if you get stuck - if you can manage to avoid the bogus bidders. You should get a good price for it.

Yeah that's my last resort, as the fees are ridiculous.

Aye - i find the bogus bidders the worst. Took me 3 attempts to sell an iPhone 2G on there once. Nightmare.

Also please don't get a Macbook Air - I had one... Good idea but you eventually end up missing the DVD drive. Plus the size of the new ally macbooks are almost on par with it anyway.

Hmm, so r u interested in PS3 games as part trade too? I might be interested again!

I'm mainly interested in cash, but let me know what games you have for trade.
#29
would you be interested in a new Apple macbook 13.3 (MB881b/a)?

Insurance replacement so no box, but can chuck in £400 cash too?
