When you say the base needs tightening, what exactly do you mean?

Any dead/stuck pixels?

I'd like first refusal for pick-up, please, subject to there being no major problems revealed in your response to my questions.
Can I presume you'd be able to demonstrate it working OK?
#6
Yup can show you working no probs. No dead pixels etc.

Im going to have a look at the base in a sec, should hopefully be able to sort this out.. Its slighty rocky if proded.

Do you prod the screen regularly, then ? :p

I'm relatively local....was thinking of popping over this weekend.....but if you're in a rush I might be able to sort out coming over sooner, depending if I'm free when you are etc etc.

will keep a wachful eye on this in case anythign happens
#9
Not proded as much as it used to be lol

Base sorted, all tightned up.Few loose screws. Weekend should be fine, where about are you?If your local i dont mind bringing it over .Im a mobile engineer so always around the midlands.

I can't see a firm offer here, in that case I'll take it for £30 collected and can collect today. Thanks

Well considering I've pointed out to OP that I am arranging to collect and have PMed the OP (at his request) with my location to sort out the pick-up (or as he suggested possible drop off), you can safely take it that I wanted it and will be picking it up at his convenience.

The problem here is that there are PMs going back and forth without any offer being accepted from the OP

You also placed conditions on the offer.

I've reported the thread to the Mods so they can help out with this before it degrades into anything.
Ultimately, I think the OP will be able to choose who to sell to, but I'm a little concerned over the PMs especially as there is no acceptance or confirmation of offer

Yeah, fair point

You also placed conditions on the offer.

Yes, and as OP confimed that the base was OK and there weren't any pixel issues, I was happy to proceed as indicated in my initial post..........and as the OP requested my address, for possible drop-off, that was my cue to take to PM.

That's how I understood these forums worked.

But I'm happy for a Mod to interject.
No skin off my nose.

It's a £30 monitor, is all.....I expressed my intention to take it and pick it up ...so if mods have no objections I'm happy to proceed.
Otherwise, I'll leave it.

Apologises guys.No net for past few hours due to virgin going down.

I am happy to accept original buyers offer and simply phlange pmed his address in private as to obviously keep it disclosed and see if i was possibly passing. As above the thread hadnt been updated since virgin going down.

Phlange has first refusal then to manj if thats ok guys.
#16
Its no probs, sell it to the other guy, but nowhere does it say " I'll take it" nor is an offer accepted. Either way no probs and good luck with the sale

Has this gone?
