Was working fine untill about a month ago where it just wont turn on sometimes.

It can be turned on after connecting it to the computer, restoring it and then plugging it into the mains, but it's inconsistent and doesnt always work.

I believe it may be the harddrive that is faulty, but I'm not 100% sure and I'm nowhere near an expert on this sort of thing.

I don't use it anymore (obviously as it's faulty) but it was a well used piece of kit previous to this.

Has never been dropped or anything, but it does have a good few scratches on the back.

Needless to say its a 20gb ipod and if you know how to fix them it may be worth something to you.

I'm not sure how much it's worth, but the box can be provided if the seller wishes and I've seen these go on ebay as faulty for £65, so I'm setting my price at that - but I'm open to offers

Wow, you seen these go for £60 on ebay faulty? think mine will be going on there then:p
Deffinetly sounds like the hard drive, mine has done the same, the 20gb 4th gen and the 4gb mini BOTH had HDD failures in the same week, I gave up and got a normal PMP for my birthday instead, sod iPods unless they have solid state drives.

Think you might be pricing it a bit high. Most go for around £20 on ebay...
