FS £250 amazon e voucher £225.00

Hi guys, earned enough bonus points via online poker to purchase a £250 amazon voucher, however am not really in need of it.

here's basically the item i've purchased
http://www.pokerstars.com/fpp/store/gift-certificates/amazon-6/?utm_id=3
Shipping/Payment:
am looking for £225 since suggested here
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/198481/monetary-value-of-250-amazon-co-uk-/

not a fan of paypal so would be looking for a bank transfer (pref hsbc since would be instantaneous). I thought to forward the email containing the e-code (blanked out) before any money is transferred, then after funds cleared forward again with the code visable, just so you know what your getting.

People sometimes have cash in paypal but want something off amazon, so instead of waiting the 7 days to transfer the cash to their bank will buy amazon vouchers for slightly more than they are worth
#6
sounds fishy why someone would pay more! hence my total distrust of ebay.... or at least some of their users.

Trouble is pontylad... for the same reasons you may struggle to sell here. You have no feedback and few posts, and while you seem pleasant enough, I'm not anyone will trust you with £225!! Good luck though.
#8
i'll start it off £200 as long as you send the code first then i'll pay via paypal straight away..
#9
thanks for the offer montana, but i think £225 is reasonable and would want to make sure payment is received before code is transferred. just like any normal transaction u'd do in a shop.
#10
cheers vibe, i understand what u mean. well i thought i'd try here first, worst comes to the worst i may try ebay.

cool.. well the offers there,,, can be sorted now...this isn't a shop...
#12
thanks montana, but £200 is too low. will wait for £225.
#13
location please i could collect and pay cash.
#14
Hi tara, yeah sorry, forgot to say i'm from cardiff, people are welcome to come here to collect it. like i said its an e-voucher code, so bring paper and a pen ;)
#15
anyone? bumpity bump

You should still show some pictorial proof on here - how about a screen grab of the email from pokerstars? You are asking people to take an awful lot on trust here - no photo, no feedback, no ebay account, no paypal...

EDIT: From your link - Note: You will receive your Amazon gift certificate code via an email from PokerStars in 5 minutes. So you should be able to take a screengrab of this easily, without including any personal info.
#17
yeah was going to say i did offer to forward it to people if they wanted it. Not sure how to put it up here, give me a bit will try it now. ps, i do have a paypal and ebay account (dc0u20b8) , just v rarely buy from ebay, and got fleeced using paypal... so never again. brb

Edit - i can't figure out how to cover the code from the screen shot before posting. am still willing to forward the email to anyone who's interested (that way i can remove the code) or if anyone's got any better idea's....? :)

You can edit the picture using photoshop or whatever, airbrush out the code. Or if you are using vista (can't remember how it works in xp) you can drag the cursor to grab a shot of the section of the screen you want - might mean taking two grabs, one above the code and one below...

thanks for that liddle, just cooking some food, will try that then, rep added.

But you're not a shop.

Interested at around £210 if you have a proper picture.
#23
hey adamo, i'll be honest, i'd do £215, still can't seem to get to edit it properly, so i've taken a photo with my camera with just the code covered. It also shows me logged into the poker in the toolbar. hope thats ok

Mate this will get closed as you have bumped it 3 times.
Your only allowed 2.
#29
would you do 215 by paypal.. you send first i'll pay straight after.. ie now tonight...
#30
sorry snare, really didn't realise that. will stop with the bumping.

Hi montana, i'm happy with the price, i really don't like paypal but if your not willing to do it via bank transfer then i'd accept that +pp fees. (though i have no idea how to take money out of paypal, but will have to find out). However considering the nature of the item i would insist on payment being received before forwarding the code, thats something i won't really negotiate on. let me know.

hiya i'm not sure what the fee's would be... im maybe to happy to go to 220 to help with fee's..however like you i'm not going first..you can see by my feedback i'm not a cowboy.. i can garrentee payment within 5 mins of recieving the code if not sooner..

I think we're at a bit of a stalemate then, £220 sounds fine (i don't know what the fee's are either) but with paypal u have that re-assurance of being able to get the money back.... unfortunately when i send the code i have no such fall back position. I've never sold anything online before, and i'm not very comfortable basing any trust on feedback from people i just don't know. (thats really not meant to be offensive to you, just trying to be honest)

I would be careful if I was you pontylad: [Taken from feedback]

Beware totally - this person is one of the most arrogant people, I have come to met in my time selling here. Sends me incorrect BT details and blames me for late refund as he no longer wanted the item. I was only able to refund him once he gave me his correct BT details after he gave me an account number with two misplaced digits and thats the total truth. This guy is very arrogant, ignorant and stubborn even after you explain things to him though it may not seem like it at first. Proceed with caution. Youre dealing with an unprofessional guy in his late teens. He threatened me, sent me abusive PMs, told me hell come to my house with a couple of friends - even though I explained to him that he gave me the wrong acc n.o and told him that he ought to give me the correct details so I could try that later day, but he said in answer its too late. Honestly, dont bother even bother with this person if you can."

Confirmed or not, if it's not done through ebay (and even then it's a bit of a lottery) you ain't covered in the slightest.
