i bought one of these a few months ago and have my xbox360/wii/pc connected.... recently my sister bought one (from currys on line) she has just taken in out the box to put in her bedroom but has decided its too big and wants rid !!

To be totaly honest it was bought using discount codes and got it for £455 but she wants to sell if for £500 plus £20 delivery (uk main land) or pickup from Sunderland ! they are selling at currys for £579.99

ideally using BACS would be the prefered method of payment so she can avoid paying paypal !!

any more info give me a shout, if i can think of anything else i will just edit this post !

i am an honest member of this forum and have bought from crazy_al (i think his name was which was £240 using BACS)

christmas went a few weeks ago !!!!

plus january sales have started / finished !

all price comparison codes have ended (doubt theyll start again)

i think the free deliv code has ended

only hope is for a 5% or 10% and then 10% is only about £50 making the TV £530

You must understand where i'm coming from?

I know there is a small amt of risk whenever you do things like this but I dont want to throw £400+ down the drain.

As I said, You will no doubt get more on ebay, But your looking at about £25.00 on fees.

Anyway, Let me know what she says?
#37
I sold my sax on ebay for £500, it cost me £12 to list it as I had a £350 reserve price on it, then they took £25 closing fees, and as the buyer paid using PayPal they took another £25. Total £62 off my £500 which left me with £438

Ebay gets lots of people to see your product, but they also make a killing and you only find out how much its gonna cost you to sell it after youve sold it (unless you read through all the tiny small print hidden somwhere in cyberspace)

By the way that TV is a great set, really nice picture, my gran has one. Shame its not a 32" Im after one of those :)
