Removed these from a Compaq N600C laptop, working great, running a PIII 1ghz laptop with 1gb ram - Xp just flew, was a lovely little machine.

These come as working when removed from laptop, and have been in storage ever since.

Shipping/Payment:
Will send first class with proof of postage - if you require recorded then you will pay the extra, as recorded offers no benefit over normal postage with a certificate of postage for insurance.

Would prefer to sell as a pair

Hi - I am interested but need to know whether they are 32 x 8 configuration or 64 x 4. Also are they 3.3v, unbuffered, non-ECC (I don't know what this means but know that it is the spec I need). Presume £35 is for the pair - not each.

give me a few mins and I'll get the specs for you. I'll update this post, so keep checking :)

and yes, it is £35 for the pair :)

information:

one is a Crucial stick, specs are on this link:

http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT64M64S4W75

The other is a Samsung, specs on this link:

http://www.memoryten.com/003439.htm

hope all this helps. I've gone from the part numbers on the sticks

If it helps, they both have 8 chips on each side of the circuit board.

As the both worked together in the laptop, I would be very surprised if they are different from each other.

I would guess they are non- ECC as this is more expensive, usually being found in servers.
Both CL3 and I would say that they are unbuffered

Looked up the links but they appear to be different configurations - I need 32 x 8 - if you don't sell them elsewhere I would be prepared to take them on sale or return but cannot risk it otherwise (I have 100% ebay) - if you can post pictures that would help to eliminate them but not necessarily confirm ok.

I made them big so you could see them clearly - you can't win them all!!

If you are not sure they will work, and can't find out from the information and pics I have posted, then probably best to leave it, rather than risk it.

I personally used the 2 together in the N600C and it was fine, so I can say they definately will work in that Laptop.

will close early morning tomorrow if no interest shown

Sorry for delay - mine look completely different as they have just 4 longer sections on each memory stick - thanks for trying.

could be differetn kind of ram altogether. what laptop model is it for?

It's a Toshiba Sat Pro SP6000 - Model no. PS600E-03DFN-EN - Serial no. 12145360G and one of the (256 mb) two memory sticks I am currently using is Dane-Elec SP133-064323J PC133-333-520-256 MB. It's getting ancient - 2001 - but I want to use it for a couple of years but obviously don't want to spend much - £35 for 2 x 520 seemed about right.

If its on the net, try and ru it through the Crucial memory scanner. I can give you the Crucial part number on the Crucial memory stick I have and see if it is one of the compatible options. The other is a Samsung, so I have no idea, but they worked fine togther, so they could be the same spec.

Just checked with the scanner and also using the model no. and they have no information for this particular memory and don't stock anything compatible.
