Hiya Guys

Does anyone out there own a fairly new 7 or 7.5 degree driver they want to get rid off? I've been playing with the idea for a while, but don't want to spend a fortune as not sure will be able to hit it. No problems if it is a few years old or if its not in the best condition. Must be a stiff shaft. Ideally not looking to spend more than £25

I tried that a few years ago with a 7.5 taylor made driver but failed miserably. I thought i'd be able to hit it lower in the wind etc but It was difficult to control if you aren't swinging well. I went for a club fitting at a Pro's in Edinburgh and after hitting about 20 drivers with different lofts the one that got be the lowest flight was a Cobra Pro speed 9 degree. I play off 2 and getting a custom fit was the best idea as it costs you nothing. If you're really serious go to golf bidder and have a look as they have some weird clubs on it.

Yeah I have been playing with a 9 degree for years now and hitting quite high, quite happy with it to be honest and hitting it a long way, but was just curious how a 7 or 7.5 degree would go!! Hence not wanting to spend a lot!! There was an oldish Ping on ebay that went for £15 a few days ago but was out and got outbid!
