OK I am selling my Sky+ box as it has been sitting in the box ever since I had V+ installed 6 Months ago.

The box itself is 9 months old but has only been used for 3 months and is in perfect working order. It comes with an original Sky+ box that I got with my first V1 Pace box.

So what you get:

Pace 80gb Sky+ Box (In perfect condition)
2 Remote Controls

I'm looking for £90 including delivery, £80 collected.

The item can be seen working if required.

Pictures are of actual item.

Any questions, which I'm sure there will be please ask.

Edited: price reduced, and description changed as no longer comes with freesat card.

I think you'll have it sitting in the box another 6 months.. Priced way to high at £150.. Can buy them new cheaper than that.. Good luck..

But you can only get the sky+ subscription with freesat if you pay £10pm. So this will pay for itself in 15 months.

Sorry didn't realise you could still use the freesat card and sky plus features together.. I thought you needed the minimum sky package.. Good deal if this card continues to work.. Hot.. The only thing that would concearn me is that your sister in law was asked to return hers.. If you was testing it for sky does the sky plus box belong to you? Sky could also cut the free plus features at any time..

OK..... I just realised you was testing the old pace V1..

Its freesat (Sky's version of Freeview), which is normally free with a one off payment of £150. The thing that you get free is the Sky+ subcription which normally costs £10 a month (if you can get them to agree to let you have it).
Have a look at the freesat website in the original post. The main difference between this and a normal pvr is it has season/series link.
Hope this helps.

There are currently a lot of Freesat deals advertised for £75 including a standard Sky box, or £20 for the card only. The the deals from Sky are pretty cheap. It's a shame they don't offer the Sky+ box in the options.

Not ignoring you, did not get the auto email to say a reply left until now.

I use a lifetime tivo, so I can not see the benifit for me, but as you say, it is a good item. Hope you get a buyer...

I think you have not had many replies because of the Freeview HDD recorders half price at Argos, offer the same thing, but are new, and don't require a dish??.

My standard sky box is strapped behind the plasma on a bracket and is out of the way, also get no stray infrared confusing it.. The only thing pulling me away from my tivo is a HD box from Sky...
A bog standard freeview recorder and probably the £70 ones are poor compaired to tivo and sky +. But I do understand some newer freeview recorders now have the series link feature, which is a result...

You say you have paired this "Special" card up to different sky+ boxes, so what are the odds with pairing it up with a HD box???. And getting the + functions with no subscription, then thinking again, the HD services without a sub??. Have you tried this??

Price reduced as the unit as the freesat card is no longer included.

You will not get the HD service without a valid sub. Not sure if the record features will work, I've decided to keep hold of the freesat card and just sell the box.
