OK, so I know it's not the most romantic of locations but why not taken your loved one ( or three!!! ) away for the weekend - to Crewe.

I have a room that we no longer need booked and prepaid.

It's handy-ish for lots of attractions, we are going to Alton Towers.

I'm sure Crewe is an incredibly interesting and exciting town - but I am not offering any money back guarantees on that statement.

The room cost £40 to book and is a non-smoking family room and will sleep 2 adults and 2 children.

Transport Links:
Crewe railway stn - 1 mile
Manchester airport - 30 miles

Places To Go:
Stoke on Trent Potteries - 12 miles
Stapeley Water Gardens - 15 miles
Alton Towers - 20 miles

Nearest Towns/Nightlife:
Crewe - 1 mile
Nantwich - 5 miles
Hanley - 11 miles
Shipping/Payment:
I have the email confirmation from travelodge which I will forward on to the winner.

If you've paid £40 surely that is the normal flexi rate, which means you can ring up and cancel it for a full refund. Which you should, because Crewe is one of the most disgusting dingy dirty horrible places I've ever had the misfortune to end up in. Horrific.

My post was accurate :P and it gave the OP a way of getting a full refund - flexible rates means you can cancel up until 12 on the day of arrival!

(I thought it was a bit odd too really waterloo... but hey! :) )

You are right but neither of the Crewe Travelodge's offer flexible rate rooms at £40. Not sure if this includes breakfast at that price.

You have obviously not been to Grimsby then :whistling:
