Has this laptop been opened up?

I thought this model shipped with either 3 or 4 gig of RAM as standard =/

Okie dokes... would you be able to find out

- How many cells the battery has
- What the graphics chip is
- Whether this laptop has DVD+/-RW
- Whether the laptop has the built in webcam above the screen

Sorry to be a pain... hopefully it should all be in the paperwork :)

Not sure how many cells the battery has, looks to be 6 quoted as 4400 mAh
Graphics is Intel GMA 4500M
There is a DVD+/-RW
Not sure about the webcam will check and let you know

Sorry, one final question (I think !)

Do you have receipts / warranty documents to go with this?

Thanks.

I don't have any documentation, don't worry it's not stolen or anything  I bought it to use myself but then got an outstanding deal on a Dell E6400 so have barely even switched it on.

Serial number sticker is showing a build date of 09/09 so at the very least has warranty until September and I've never had any issues with warranty repairs with Acer against the serial number alone...

I have asked the person i bought it from whether they have any proof of purchase etc.

So you've owned it for 2 months, but there was another owner beforehand?

How come the previous owner didn't want it, and how long did they have it for?

Would be cool if they have the documents.

Cheers.

I've owned if for about 2 days, the previous owner had it for 2 months, apparantly they couldn't get on with a laptop and they went back to a desktop, have asked about the documentation so hopefully they'll get back to me

Just had an email from the person i bought it from saying they aren't prepared to pass on any paperwork as it contains "too many personal" details. So unfortunately selling without. Note warranty work is done direct with Acer and I've just used the serial number in the past
