With DDR2 ram.....

Either way that is not the same laptop in any way except it's an Acer an had BluRay.

Yet this is the 6935: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/8903143/Acer-Aspire-6935-Core-2-Duo-T8400-2-26GHz-4GB-320GB-16-Blu-ray-Vista-Home-Premium-Laptop-Notebook/Product.html

£719.99......

Agree you are correct... I personally would pay the extra to get the DDR3...

Is this the one with controls on the left?
#5
Yes it is. Although like I said I have not opened the box properly to actually see, but all the 6935 have, the 6930 do not I think.

And whats the processor on this?

Play.com reflect: Intel Core 2 Duo T8400 / 2.26 GHz ( Dual-Core )

Is this correct?
#7
This is the T6400 so it's 2Ghz dual core i think?

Yea can take some pics, however it's just a box.....

It says the graphics is NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT.

I'll have to get home and take some pics, I'm at work at the moment being fed information from home.

both play and amazon state the 6935 has ddr2 not ddr3 ram.

EDIT: ddr3 is faster, therefore better if you will.

I will make sure when I get home and take a pic. I did double check with her on the phone. But for everyone's piece of mind I'll post a pic as soon as I'm home.

You register it once you set up windows, so I guess it's effective as of that moment.
#25

To be honest I think this is a steal at 500 with insured delivery, which will be £22.50 I'm guessing through Royal Mail. I don't really want to deviate as I know this is worth every penny as it is.

Ok mate no problem. Thinks its a little out of my price range then. Unless my desktop sells on ebay

You're probably best tying this on to some form of house insurance. I am usure how extended warranty works, and as this laptop wasn't bought as such, it was given as a replacement item after my wife's laptop was damaged under my own insurance, I don't know.

I cannot accept £450 when someone else is asking the same price for a lesser laptop, similar laptops to this are £700+ so this is a bargain. The DDR3 RAM is worth enough on it's own. Never been touched, I only opened to make sure that no paperwork with my details was inside.
#33
so does this mean laptop has valid std warranty then? prob do you best to find out to clarify for any other interest you get cos wthout warranty im sure no-one would want

reason i asked about extended was acer had a deal at tesco with 2 yrs for 12 on here

and thanks for replying but i cant go any higher cos thats all i have
good luck on sale

You register the warranty with Acer when you setup windows, so yeah, no reason not to have the full 12 months. Acer's usually have a warranty card inside the box too.
#35
so if the warranty is in the box in theory extended warranty would work :-)

thanks again
