After my first attempt to sell this I didn't know if would drop value so much and so my initial asking price of £950 seems a bit too much. My apologies to a couple of people who I didn't sell to for the price it is now at because of this. This, I think, is the cheapest high spec laptop with a Blu-Ray Writer and Windows 7 going! Great for games too. Well here goes...

Acer Aspire 5935G-874G50Wn (LX.PBL0X.045 Windows 7 & Windows Vista)

RRP £1270.00

I have had it for 1 and a half month with little use and therefore comes with just under 11 month manufacturers international worldwide warranty. The laptop is fully boxed and as new with all the little bits and bobs...including DVDs of the backup already made for you, sample Blu-Ray disc still sealed, all little booklets etc. The warrent pack has NOT been opened yet - still shrink wrapped sealed so the warranty can be registered in your name. It's in 100% new like condition with all the stickers - you'd never know it was used.

Please see full specification to appreciate this laptop. Acer 5935G laptops vary wildly in specification.

The laptop has the Windows 7 Home Premium already on it with all the driver software etc already setup for you. The copy of Windows 7 Home Premium is FULLY licensed and original specifically for this unit and by Acer!

Hi mate,

I can't really post first but if you're serious and we come to an agreement on the price, I guess I could drive down. Tell you what though mate..it's a bit of a trek :-) I'm a little familiar with Watford as I used to live down there as a student.

What sort of price are you thinking?

Cheers, Ajay.

Thanks for the offer but I cant realistically go that low unfortunately (I paid £1077 for this just a little over a month ago). Driving down and back will set me back £25-30 on fuel alone.

That said there's also some key differences with the spec on mine..not far off but the premium on blu-ray writer drives as oppsed to reader-only drives is the key price bumper on this one (typically about £140-£160 on top). Plus the processor's nearly a half gigahertz faster on mine...that's a massive increase (another £100 or so). There a couple of other differences too.

I've used the laptop literally a couple of times, formatted it and did a clean install with updates of Windows 7 and boxed it back up so to keep it as new as possible.

Having a look around the cheapest I can see a new one at is £1078..from shops that dont look too dodgy but average around £1150-£1200. Also I've paid for and the Windows 7 license as well...already saving you £60+ :-)

Can you meet me at say £720 which (would include my fuel and the pain of the boring drive down the M1:-) ? Bargain even at this price!

£700 it is. Please either pay by cash when we meet or if you want to pay by PayPal please use the Gift option...else they'l take such a heafty fee from this i'd be losing out even more. We'll make sure you're happy with it all first of course. Sound ok with yourself mate?

i'd prefer to do it over paypal as i don't wanna be carrying £700 cash on me....i can paypal the money for you there and then via my phone.

Weekdays are pretty bad as i'm working and wouldn't stand a chance getting anywhere near london until 8.30-9pm so would something like a Sunday be ok?

yep sunday should be cool we can sort it out tomorrow.

oh yeah does it have a separate remote control? can you take a pic of it?
#14
Morning mate, they don't come with any remote controls, I assume you mean for Windows Media Center sort of stuff? As it has Windows Media Center 7 on it, you can use any Windows Media Center remote. I didn't buy one but they are typically about £7 onwards on eBay.

I've just sent you a Private Message with time/location details matey. Thanks.
