Hi, for sale is my Acer Aspire L200 Media Center. The computer is housed in an small case which is perfect for putting under a TV. I have been using it for the past 3 years or so as such, I had just installed Windows Vista and with CoreAVC before it broke and it would play 720p .mkv files fine over the network/from HDD. I will be formatting the drive though before sale for security reasons.

Now for the problem, it's PSU has blown - I have attached a picture - it may be repairable but I don't have the money or know how. I have connected the motherboard to my desktop pc and it boots fine so the components are good i.e. you can either fix the PSU or just move the components into a different case (the case is beautiful on this so my hope is that whoever buys it is able to use the case in one form or another.)

The specs:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
1gb DDR Ram (might be 1.25gb not too sure)
160gb SATA HDD
Slot in DVDR (one way the case's height is kept to a minimum)
Integrated ATI Xpress graphics
Integrated Audio/Lan
WinTV Hybrid Tuner card w/ FM radio (works with freeview)(this card has s-video/composite inputs so you can record from your old video cameras onto the PC. I lost the riser card for this so you would need to purchase ebay item no (no way affiliated):230383451153 to use this (I lost the one for this when I was trouble shooting the causes for why the PC wouldn't boot up - if I find it before the item is sold then i will include it).
8x USB 2.0 ports (4 front, 4 rear), 2x Firewire (1 front, 1 rear)

You can connect it to your TV via its VGA input but if your TV does not have a VGA input then you can use the s-video or composite outputs to connect to your TV. It comes in its original box but just the unit and power cable is included (no kb/mouse).
Collection is welcome, I stay in Hamilton (South Lanarkshire) or can post for £10 using the Standard Service on Parcel2go.com

Paypal/cheque/postal order is fine or cash if collecting.

does it have an internal or an external PSU?

ok...you beat me lol
That your best price? have you looked around for the part?
it looks like the hole missing in the case is where the psu goes ;)

you should be able to pick a psu up off flea bay for about £20 me thinks....
The hole i would have thought is where the pci card sits from the riser card.

Still looking for psu.

looks like its internal to the right of the hole :-D
Hi, yes that hole is where the TV card would sit if I could find the riser card. It is an internal power supply but not a standard one so a normal ATX one won't fit, either you need a replacement Hiper unit (or as I mentioned repair the broken unit) or I read somewhere that you could modify a shuttle SFF PSU to fit. I have tried looking for the part on eBay but couldn't see it anywhere.
For this reason ill offer £50 and ill arrange courier at my end. I know its a low start but without the psu the media case is defunkt.

Hi, thanks for the offer but I'm looking to get around the asking price or I'll stick the components in a cheap case and make an el-cheapo freenas machine.
Well ive found a replacement psu but im awaiting a price.

Whats your best price and you have no feedback... 50/50 if price is right?
Hiper has gone bankcrupt.

Hi, well that explains a lot - I tried phoning them but there was never an answer. I have an eBay account with 266+ feedback so you don't have to be worried about my integrity. I'm going to stick to my original price as I think it's fair for the system.
KK im not going to make an offer until i get a price back from this company.

I have a funny feeling its going to cripple the deal as it says they make their own branded psu since hiper have gone down the pipe.

Ill let you know but it might be a case that your going to be building a new system for yourself!

Hi Lav

This part is replaced by the fsp 9pa2004223, which we have new at £89.50 plus £9.50 delivery and VAT.

Best regards
