Have been collecting the different £2 /£1 and 50p coins since about 1995

Really need the money so was going to go down the bank and bank them all
But just looked and some are worth more than their face value

can take pics if any interest, but I do have quite a few
If there is one you are looking for please ask and I will see if I have it
thanks

How you know they are more then the face value, can you point me in the direction of a webpage?
#4
been on ebay and a 1996 one is selling for between £4 and £10

Anyway most of them I am not after losts of money for them, just trying to help out a collector , rather than just banking them

I only want what most of them are actually worth - there are only a few that I want a little more for

Are these coins not in circulation? What makes them worth more?

Im assuming that they are commemorative coins that are in circulation but for a certain period. like this on ebay.co.uk

nah for example i believe it was the 3rd printed £2 coin due to limited numbers are worth £10-15 as i use to work in a shop and i use to check the £2 coins i got and in one summer i made about £75 from taking these £2 coins and replacing them with my own! At the time i had a collector who brought them for £12 a piece! that was several years ago too!

hi, these are not proof coins, they are just coins I got given while shopping that I saved because of the different pictures

all I know is that the £2 1996 and 2002 coin goes for £4 to £10 depending on condition
I haven't looked at all the others yet

I think I have about £60+ face value - will count up if your still interested? liddle ol' me ?
