For sale is my Apple 1Tb Time Capsule. I used only twice or three times as I only used it to back up my Macbook. So literally, the item is like new. No scratches at all. I bought it 2 months ago when it was £329 pounds. I have re-formatted the Time Capsule back to original settings so it is ready to go. I have seen on Ebay, this item goes upto 260 plus postage. OVNO

The item will be send via Special Delivery or ParcelForce for the price of £10

Shipping/Payment:
Payment will be Paypal, must be verified account only. I can only despatch to the confirmed address. Local pickup available. I prefer this way as we can both make sure that we are happy with the item.

oh i see a wireless hard drive
#3
Yes, a wireless hard drive. You can plug a printer into a usb port and you can use the printer wirelessly everywhere in the wireless area
#4
Yowzer! That's a lot of cash for 1TB, wireless or not!

First of all, I think because Apple brands are always expensive and pricey. But it worths the cost, and Apple products always don't loose their values. This Time Capsule is the first NAS hdd that I have seen, offers fast transfer speed, allow to share a usb printer, remote back up. Works flawlessly. For the same functions, other NAS hdd can go up to 500-600 pounds.

why did you buy a back up device then decide to sell it because you only backed up once?

you'll have some egg on the face if you sell it and your MacBook HDD died. :p
#7
Because it is too costly for me. As I can just use a normal 1Tb HDD through firewire. Was living in a flat share with one more ppl hence the idea of the TIme Capsule was quite reasonable.

1TB would be overkill for a macbook though?
#9
does this need to be used with a mac ?
#10
No, it doesn't need a Mac, it can work with PC as a wireless hard drive,

And no, it doesn't overkill the MacBook, as I have been backed up with my macBook 2.4. And there is nothing wrong with it

what i mean is, surely 1TB of back up memory is too much for a laptop that has 200GB max storage?

Some wires crossed there :-D

The maximum internal Sata 2.5" that MacBook can be used with is 500GB, if you have loads of movie and music, this is an ideal storage, where you can use your MacBook to access files, movies in a different room, without having to drag your HDD along. And to be honest, I didn't use it that much that's why I decided to sell.
