FS: Apple iPhone 4 16GB Black - O2Insurance Replacement Unused £300.00

Selling this on behalf of a friend who had her iPhone 4 stolen and this is the replacement. She has upgraded to an iPhone 4S whilst waiting for the replacement to arrive.

Boxed in half an iPhone box (see pics) and an O2 box. This is how it arrived.

Will have 90 days warranty on the replacement handset as the original warranty has expired.

All accessories are unused.

Am checking in regards to the 90 day warranty as generally O2 replacements for insurance come with 12 months warranty. Will update on verification.

BUMP :)
#3
is that your lowest price and does that include delivery?
#4
You might want to check the warranty status with apple as anytime I've had a replacement by O2 insure its been a new product with full 12months warranty.
#5
will you take £265 for it delivered by RMSD?

A quick look online suggest it is 12 months. Will have to verify later as the phone needs to be activated to check with Apple online for warranty status.

£300 and you have a deal. I haven't seen an iPhone 4 on here with 12 months warranty go for that little yet! :)
#17
Replacements are normally refurbished not brand spanking new! Many new phones go for the 300 mark so 270's more than fair for a refurb, unless you can prove its not a refurb?

Also it's not fully boxed which leads me to believe even more it's a refurb

Ive had refurbs from apple before nothing wrong with them they look new to me ..
#19
Didn't say anything was wrong with them ... Did I?

Apple sell refurbs a less than RRP, so selling a refurb isn't going get the same money as a brand new boxed iPhone !
#20
I'll offer £280

Don't really want to go below £300 as this is a bargain and am selling for a friend and that is what she wants. How close can you get and I'll ask her.

I'm not interested, but to those who are £300 is a bargain. Was looking at iPhone 4's last week and your lucky to pick one up for £300 let alone in this kind of condition! Do not accept lower OP, this phone could easily be sold on for higher!
#26
I would sincerely appreciate those who have different views on refurbished phones to vent their views somewhere else other than my thread.

FYI

Insurance claim phones from your insurance company and authorised by O2 are normally brand new thus the 12 month warranty. Refurbished handsets get 90 days max or the remaining warranty status of your original phone.

This iPhone is still for sale for £300 :)
#27
I think this is a very good deal. Wish you'd advertised this in a couple of weeks as I might well be in the market for one. Good luck with the sale.

Hi if you can get it unlocked (usually free if on contract with 02) and confirm that it has 12 months warranty i will take at asking price. Thanks

Okay. Owner of phone is back tomorrow so will sort then.
#30
I'd go asking price if it was unlocked. I'll do £290 as it is.

Can you confirm the date of warranty when entered here

Are you happy to take this to PM?

I can't check the status until the phone is activated. I will do today as I was waiting for the handset owner to return.
#35
Happy to take to PM at £290. There's a small chance it'll lock to whatever sim is inserted into it first so I'd rather you keep it unregistered. I'll take my chances with the warranty.

I take it you're happy to accept responsibility that it won't be reported stolen and blocked ?

PM sent. This phone will not be blocked.

FYI - I put an Orange SIM in the phone and it states to put the correct (O2) SIM in.

I'm going to withdraw my offer.

Sorry. New number. Got the prefix wrong. Please use 0207. 0203 is my work prefix at the same address.

New prefix listed. Only been here two weeks and I have two different numbers at the same address. Genuine error. I think you tell from my feedback I'm not here for a con :)
