Sorry, I was asking what the lowest price you would take for the Mac Mini was, I was thinking near to the current pricing of an AppleTV - but looks like its sold.

Hi, just want to update thread... basically this has turned into a nightmare for me and the buyer, mainly down to this..

Date/Time Event Extra Details
02/12/2010 13:05:27 Sorted at PRIME SORT Depot: PRIME SORT
01/12/2010 17:00:00 Unable To Deliver HULL DEPOT Inclement Weather Depot: HULL DEPOT

and this is the latest status of the parcel, I have been assured it is still in the warehouse and they are trying to clear a huge backlog but P2G have also said that we should put a 'loss' claim in so its within the time guidelines for putting a claim in and in the meantime if the parcel turns up they will cancel the claim..

now one of the rules for this claim is the buyer has to jot down a letter to say they have not received the item, sign it and send it in, this is mandatory...

I have asked the buyer to do this but he has said that he will not do this until I have refunded him..

now I cannot work this one out and am asking for MOD advice, I can fully understand the frustration the buyer and of course if he does not get the item he will get a refund but surely this should be when the claim is confirmed and buyer has stated he has not received the item in writing..??

As long as you can prove its been sent, buyer sorts the claim out

Are both items sold?

Not sure which ones lost now

yes got full proof, it looks though like we both have things to do with the claim..

Receivers Confirmation. Any claims for loss will require written confirmation from the receiving party that they have not received the item. If this is not submitted with the claim; the claim will be refused.

this is the part I cannot do and obviously feel should be done before refund?

am still waiting on concrete advice and instruction as obviously do not want to do the wrong thing but Thanks for your input.

Couldn't be further from the truth. It's up to the seller to ensure the goods get to the buyer. Of course the seller may wait to ensure that the buyer complies with any investigation, prior to issuing a refund.

Thanks mod, We are in a stalemate, Its been 19 days since I completed the payment, I have asked for a refund, but have been getting little response, I have offered 50% back now and the remainder when the claim has been sorted, still no response, I am currently 125 out of pocket and nothing to show for it.
#35
sorry buyer but where have I not been responsive oO I have been waiting on advice and instructiona dn have kept you fully up to date with this, meanwhile you are demanding refunds and threatening with a Paypal dispute..

IMO all I have asked you to do is help comply with the claim process of P2G and TBH are a little reluctant to issue any sort of refund until you have done this, I have apologised on many occasion and you have been more than patient but as you can see from the tracking it looks like it all started off with the bad weather.

please remember its a pain for both of us,

Thanks

All weekend, about the time I asked for a refund....
#37
you asked for a refund Dec 10th and since then it shows I have sent 9 PM's 6 of those are directly related to you asking for a refund and me explaining about the claim process and that I was waiting on advice..

but I really do not want to get into tit for tat comments, surely you could have done your part of the claim process by now and it be in the postal system..?

Thanks

16 days waiting for delivery up to the 10t Dec, I think I have a right to ask for a refund at that point, I have tried to be amicable over the request of the claims form, I have said numerous times I would be happy to share this pain by going 50-50 on the process, but you dont seem to want to budge. I have paid £125 and have nothing at all to show for it.

and the one and last thing you have to do is write a note stating this, sign it and send it off and you will get your refund.

I will be happy to this, if you agree to meet me half way and refund half now, the rest on completion,
We can both walk away with something
