Hi all

Up for sale is an Apple MacBook in white. it has a 13.3" screen and specs are as follows:
2.26 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor
250 GB HDD
2 GB Ram
DVD RW

its got the latest software on it inc Mac Word etc.

warranty is until Dec 2010, therefore it is now 5 months old. its in mint condition - like new!

Comes with charger and carry case etc. unfortunately no box or instructions as these were destroyed accidentally.

These are around £900 new and mine is in mint condition.

I am looking for £600 or i would swap/px why

pics will be posted in the morning - just need to dig my digi camera out!
Shipping/Payment:
Collection only from around Rotherham/Sheffield only please. I am 5 minutes from Meadowhall and can meet anywhere around here to suit your needs.

I have 258 feedback on ebay but none on here and i would not be willing to post first. Therefore i would prefer cash on collection.

Rotherham

ok i'm interested but can you tell me what the difference between yours and this one http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/693666/fs-apple-macbook-13-3-white-trades-

is it just that yours has 5 months warranty left?

Thanks

I would hazard a guess that the price difference is because of the age/condition of the machines and the remaining warranty.

Also note these points from the other listing.

couple of cosmetic hairline cracks on hinge cover
screen sometimes flickers on boot up not always and it stops after a few seconds

Thank you, trying to weigh up whether that's worth the extra £250.

hi mate. yeah i noticed that one. but if you compare the pics - its a different model. (can be seen by comparing the mouse pads). the one for £375 is a far older model - i believe mine is the latest on the market.

as UltimateWarrior has kindly explained, the on for £375 also looks to be damaged and has no warranty - therefore if anything goes wrong then there is nothing you can do. with mine however, you can just take it back to Apple Meadowhall, or which ever one is closest to you and they will fix it or give you a brand new one!

Was hoping you were into photography and had a Canon SLR as I have a few lenses going spare.

Apart from that I only have an unlocked Nokia N97 mini.....but that wouldn't be enough, valuewise, to make it worth my while (i.e I'd have to contribute too much cash on top - I'm a little skint at the moment unfortunately).

Unless you'd be intersted in a mac mini as well as the phone?

Just throwing ideas out really, no need to respond if of no interest to you.

yes i'd be interested in the n97 mini and could you let me know of the specs of the mac mini.

what sort of deal were you thinking with these two?

thanks

the mini is ;
1.83 ghz core 2 duo
2gb of ram
80 hdd
Snow Leopard OS with disk.

As a ball-park I'd be looking at £240 for the mini and £160 for the N97 mini...

However, I believe you may be overvaluing the macbook slightly.....I had a chance at a 2.4GHz alu-unibody macbook with 21mths applecare, earlier this week, for £565......only the seller wasn't interested in anything I had available for part-ex.
So I'd value your white 2.26GHz at no more than £550

So, as a ball-park figure I'd be looking at the mac mini, Nokia N97 mini and £150 cash against your mac.

(Could also offer white full-size bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mighty mouse in place of some of the above cash, if you'd need these too,....otherwise I'd use them with the macbook whilst at home).

As I say, I'm just throwing ideas into the pot...if it's of interest then great we could talk more.....otherwise no hard feelings

hi mate. i've had a think on it and to be honest, i could really do with the money more than a £240 mac which is no better to me than this MacBook! :)

thanks anyway though.
