FS: Astro Gaming 2010 MixAmp £60.00

This is the new 2010 Astro MixAmp, unused and brand new, only been tested by Astro and myself to ensure that it is working. This was a replacement sent to me after my first one was faulty, but as I only seem to use my Astro headset for music these days it just seems completely pointless to hang on to this new one.

Doesnt come with any leads etc, but all you need is a mini usb lead and an optical cable and away you go (most people have these anyway). This is also the reason for the discounted price.

Any questions please ask :)

The only thing I would possibly be interested in trading for would be a PSone + screen combo in good condition with the usual accessories etc.

£48? I can get it sent tomorrow.

£45, last offer. I gotta buy a toslink, and also, I think I'm gonna need to contact Astro themselves to get a chat lead, as in the lead that goes from the mixamp to the controller? If you do actually have that cable, then £48 happily :).
Cheers

Also, does it come with the daisy chain, and is there any feedback issues that some of these devices are plagued with? Thanks again.

Ok thats understandable :) Accepted. And yeah, you'd need to send an email to astro about the chat lead, just say the one you had broke so you need a new one, think its a few quid.

It doesnt come with one unfortunately, but they are available on the astro gaming shop now. If by feedback you mean the static that is sometimes present on the newer mixamps due to voice comms then no there is no feedback whatsoever. I will test it again though just to double check. From what I can gather on the forums, the static problems were caused by the daisy chain not being plugged in correctly or having no batteries present in the amp itself.

Glad we have a deal :). Like I said before I am new, so I can pay either by bank transfer, PayPal, I can't say I'm sure what PPG is? Whichever is easiest for you mate.
Regarding the daisy chain, I'm not fussed anyway, was just wondering really. (I'm not good enough to go to any gaming events anyway! lol)
Cheers for the heads up regarding the static issue :).
Not totally sure where I go from here?

Bank transfer would be easiest as it avoids the hassle of transfering from paypal to bank account :)

Ive tested it again and there is no static issue whatsoever.

I'll send you a pm with my Bank transfer details, then all ill require is your address :) The whole acceptance thing on these threads is just to confirm the deal, incase anything goes wrong then the mods can help out etc, a little like ebay but without the fees.

Awesome stuff. Yeah, bank transfer is fine by me mate. If you PM me your details, then I will make the payment tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks for testing it again, good to hear there are no problems :).
