FS: Black iPhone 3GS 32GB (O2) £440.00

Put this up for sale again, hoping to get a sale sorted!

It was originally bought for £550, but it crashed on me - I took it to the Apple Store and they gave me a brand new replacement which I've used for 24 hours (to get home with). I've since received an upgrade from O2 (white), so this one needs selling.

The iPhone itself is immaculate, the earphones are still sealed, has the box, mains charger and USB lead (both used).

Any questions, fire away! Pictures posted tomorrow evening.

Hi I will take this. Only question I have is could you possibly get this unlocked prior to sale?

Edit does it have a warranty? Boxed etc?

Hey, it has warranty, fully boxed with USB lead, wall charger, all the usual bits (and SIM tray tool).

It's warrantied until December 2010. Can't unlock it as it voids the warranty according to Apple - unless you meant officially?

Based in Northampton.

Hi I am off to Prague tonight. I don't think i will have enough time to research how to get the phone unlocked so unless its for sale when I get back on Monday night I think i am going to have to back out. Really sorry mate.

If you can get it officially unlocked from o2 somehow for like £10-15 then I will take it no problem and being that you are in Northampton I can do cash on collection next week. I can even give you a small deposit today. I am willing to split the cost of unlocking with you also.

I will be checking this thread when I get the opportunity at work so apologies if I can't reply straight away

Up in Yorkshire next week, but will be back over the weekend. Cash on collection for the weekend would be fine with a deposit. I'll call up about the unlocking shortly.

Sounds good! Let me know what happens with regards to unlocking!

To get it unlocked via O2 you need to have £15 credit and it takes 14 days to unlock. I've just gone through the process of getting mine done, still waiting for the unlock code either today or tomorrow.

If not i'll take it, got ebay refs.. (could do transaction through there with postage) or arrange different payment method (im south east)
Let me know..

Haven't got the patience to wait for 14 days or to get £15 credit on there.

Mumblee, would accept bank transfer, but prefer to meet, I'm in London on the 15/16th if that's any help?

If you are on contract with o2 then its fairly easy

The following is from the o2 website:

Pay Monthly customers

Your iPhone can be unlocked at anytime free of charge. If you unlock your handset and place a non-O2 sim into it, you will still have to honour the remainder of the minimum term on your contract.
iPhone Pay & Go customers

Yes, you can unlock your iPhone for a one-off cost of £15. You'll pay for this from the money topped-up on your phone.

But if you unlock your iPhone less than 12 months after you bought it, we'll take off the free Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On (that we added for the first 12 months). You can buy a Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On for £10 a month when you fill in the unlocking form. Find out more about the Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On here.

Why did you go through eBay with the sale?
#19
For peace of mind so he had my eBay ID and I had his address through something more official. Not that it's any of your concern, but thanks anyway.

well you broke the rules.

And incurred ebay fees as well i guess ?

No I didn't, the buyer approached me here and asked if I could set up an eBay BIN private sale to confirm our addresses for his peace of mind. I had no issue doing it (for £1) as I want him to feel at ease and it confirms where the transaction is taking place also. But thanks for trolling.

Of about 70p. Thanks though, again, for trolling.

I hadn't traded here before so asked him to set up an auction to have some 'proof' of the sale.

Extremely helpful, received it this morning in perfect condition.

Thanks again..

EDIT: How do I leave feedback etc.?
