FS Blackberry 8900 Unlocked As New £225.00

As the title really, i've got an unlocked Blackberry 8900 which I had from Tmobile a couple of months ago (so plenty of the manufacturers guarantee left on it).

It comes complete, boxed with the charger, data cable, manuals and cd etc and is in as new condition.

Im based in Nottingham if anyone fancies collecting.

Can send via Royal Mail next day special delivery fully insured.

Any questions, feel free to reply here.

Edit - forgot to mention, the blackberry pin hasn't ever been registered so should be straight forward to set up blackberry email with your provider

any scratches or marks?

any clearer pictures please with your username and date in shot?

are you able to post before payment to members with good feedback?
#3
Hi,

there's no scratches on it or marks - the small amount it was used it was always in the pouch that came with it (which is rather cool, has a magnet or something in it so the phone 'knows' when it's been put in the pouch and when it's been taken out).

I can take some better images once im home from work with my username and todays day in the picture no problem. I initially took the pics in a bit of a hurry for another member but he ended up going for a Blackberry Storm instead I think (His loss :)).

I wouldn't want to post it before i've got the money. You can see from my (albeit small) feedback that i've sold a couple of fairly big things on here before and it was all fine.

Im a few junctions down on the M1 from you if you could pop down to collect if that's what you'd prefer?

Thanks for your interest.

I'm just extremely hesitant to sent the phone to a complete stranger over the internet without having the money for the goods - I guess I can see that you guys would have the same hesitation with me being a faily 'inactive' user.

Is there any other way around it that we can think of?

As you said and were hestitant to send that amount of money to a stranger as well!
the only way for you not to send first and the buyer not to give money to a complete stranger as well is a meetup...otherwise no other way
#8
first things first are you after any trades at all?
#9
Only trade I can see me being interested in is an iPhone 3G.

Considering you're both high posters and have good feedback - I'll be willing to post first

WTF you didn't want to post to me first weird
#11
Vinylkiller - i've responded to your PM you've just sent.

I've said it's nothing personal or about you and id ideally still prefer not to send first.

Just that since I posted my thread, and after your feedback - it seems like it was the easiest way to do it as all members are saying the same - seems I have no other choice.

If anyone is interested please feel free to post here, failing that i'll either stick it on an ebay auction or list in the local paper.

Cheers :)

think you don't get protected by gift but if the person is obv paying after the item is posted i don't think it's that much of a risk.

there is more risk to the seller sending first though but its all a matter of trust then
#21
Vinylkiller - i explained that I didn't want to post first when you initially had a request for the phone, and this is reflected in my thread here. I've not turned around on my word to 'bump' you. After feedback from members on here in this thread and by yourself, ive just discovered that i've no other choice but to send first.

Boothy: Yes, that's fine then - I have a PayPal verified account that you could pay me via.

Seems strange that they do an option of sending a payment without any fee's - i'm not complaining though :D Rep added for the info, will be handy at some other point im sure

Boothy I am not sure I would never pay gift for anything over 40, unless you or Sy or well trusted members I was buying from . saving fees is not always ideal

Hi Vinylkiller, again ive said over and over im not trying to put you out - you'd not responded to me for 2 days so I made this listing. And no offence, but after seeing 'boothy' was interested, id be happier sending first to him as he's from Shefield (half an hour drive from here) than Scotland (would take me an entire day!) in the event anything went tits-up.

If boothy is interested, id prefer to sell to him (again no offence vinylkiller) - but if you can meet me half way, and say pay 50% up front then I send, and then you pay me the final amount - how does that sound?

(Can't believe what a fiasco this is turning out to be! Might just withdraw the listing and sell it on ebay)
#30
if you send via recorded delivery how can this go tits up??? if i am going to scam you then others can too,my feedback is perfect on here and ebay also.obviously my rep means nothing on here
#31
doubt you will have any probs with vinylkiller he has twice the amount of feedback as me,this site runs on trust.

this is getting a bit silly in all honesty therefore ,I withdraw my interest, good luck with your sale

ill vouch that vinylkiller is trustworthy and well known around these parts, you wont have any problem.
However BigPun11 id suggest you send the phone via special delivery as then if anything happens whilst it i posted you can claim the full amount unlike recorded delivery only covers you upto £39.

Glad by the look of it you shall get asking price, as i was going to offer but under the £200 mark!

i did,i posted here and OP sent me a message the same one he posted above just stating that it wasn't because he didn't trust me or nothing
#36
ask about what mate??? i already had a thread asking for this brand of phone,OP posted in it but didn't want to send first.i pulled out of sale,he then created this thread and after a few posts agreed to send first.i then decided to take the phone at the agreed price that we agreed in my thread

the PM was why didn't you want to send to me first as stated above,no rules have been broken.i don't deal thru pm,if you will check my FS thread you will see that both parties agreed on a price
#40
i don't like being accused of what i am being accused of here,i have never dealt thru pm on this site.and we had agreed on a price on my thread,OP just doesn't trust me to post first it's as simple as that
