you should realy state thet you guarantee the IMEI number is not barred - big problem not with high end handsets and also you should state if the blackberry is PIN released.

Also have you used it with blackberry services and on what network.

this will help you sell the phone

good point, i used the blackberry service for a day but couldnt get used to the handset...

I guarentee the IMEI is not barred... I have the phone here to hand, Would it help to put my sim in and take a pic?

I have used the services and i used it on O2, but only for a day... How do i release the service so someone else can use the PIN/IMEI?

TBH I am not interested in buying just trying to help you sell - i got the Orange £20 deal !

Basically yes show the phone working with your SIM in it but this is only half the story.

The recent scam with iPhone especially is that people were cliaming they had lost their iphone 3G because O" started replacing insurance claim 3g with 3GS. Once they had their new 3GS they would try to sell the 3G but of course O2 would block the IMEI number - but it takes about 2-3 weeks for the block to come into force - long enough to sell it and do a runner !!!

As far as teh PIN goes - if it was used on your account call O2 customer services and ask them to release the PIN from your BIS / BB Email account. Only you can do it so this must be done otherwise nobody else can use the phone on BIS
