My partner has just upgraded to the iPhone so we now have an Orange Branded BlackBerry 8520 available to sell.

It is 2 months in good condition other than a bit of damage at the top of the phone where the media keys are (son sank his teeth into it. Comes with box and all accessories.

Pics in second post.

Hello Bane

Is the BB PIN released?

How low are you prepared to go bearing in mind that the damage does look quite bad on the media keys?

Hi hdizzle,

This is going to sound daft but I don't know what you mean by the BB pin being released? Is there anyway I can test this with another SIM to find out e.g. my Vodafone one with BB add-on also?

Delivery by Saturday shouldn't be an issue and I'm open to any sensible/reasonable offers.

Thanks

BB release means ringing up your network, and telling them to release the BB PIN, so that the new user can register the BB pin to their BIS account. One way of finding out if the BB PIN has been successfully released is if it can be registered to a new account, for example:
https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=o2mailuk

Then the new user can use the internet and BB messenger, that way. If the BB PIN is not released the Blackberry is effectively useless. Hope that helps.

And in terms of an offer, I really don't want to offend you here. But to me for a damaged blackberry I wouldnt pay more than 90 excluding delivery. That's bearing in mind there are additional delivery costs, and unlocking costs too [for me], and costs for fixing it up. Bearing in mind also, I can pick up a brandnew one for 150 direct from Orange :)

Sorry but £90 is too low. Thanks for the interest however.
